We were planning on having an aperitif, but we were told over the phone that it had to be done by 8:30 PM because dinner would follow. We arrived at 8:15 PM and decided to have dinner, but in the meantime, people were arriving and starting to have an aperitif, and they continued doing so throughout the evening. The only thing that made us turn up our noses was that we were a little put off. Quality food: tasty tartare with its sauces and guaranteed Parma ham. Good service. Perhaps the prices were a bit high. We had dinner in the square and had a pleasant evening. Will we go back? Probably, but this time, if we feel like an aperitif, we'll do it!

So, drinks with lots of ice and not too cold beer in this hot June... All in all a relatively positive experience, taaap company, I only recommend it if you're drunk🥺🧹😞😩👁🐟😍🥶😡😉🫠🚀💩🤵🤵‍♀️

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food was delicious, with special mention for the excellent local charcuterie and tagliatelle al ragù. One small regret: we hadn't made a reservation, so we couldn't enjoy the terrace, which looked very pleasant. A word of advice: remember to book in advance if you want to dine outside! The welcome and service were warm and professional, which added to the overall experience.

Bistrot Canossa ..piazza Antonio Fontanesi 2 ...Reggio Emilia. It has 2 very well furnished rooms, one of which is for private receptions on request and in addition to many seats outside on this beautiful square, a beautiful sight for those who come to these parts. It serves food for the hippy hour ..and serves excellent cocktails. It organizes events, group dinners, and aperitifs, in this very welcoming and cheerful location ..where you can spend days and even evenings in excellent company. Here you can also find and taste excellent local wines ..eating genuine foods, and "many other traditional Emilian dishes ..including cured meats, cheeses, fresh pasta and excellent cuts of beef and pork ..and also dishes of excellent fresh fish.

Me friend and I just had the most amazing meal and evening. They are fluent with English, and have English menu. The prices are sooooo worth what you eat. I would return again and again and recommend to anyone visiting Reggio

Trip to Reggio Emilia and among the streets of the center we moved to the Canossa bistro... What a great coup! The bistro overlooks a large square and its interior is very well kept, very clean and the menu offered offers various alternatives with a nod to the connection with one's land. Delicious cold cuts and a super herb to say the least. Tagliolini with parmesan cream and delicious red tortelloni. Smiling and courteous staff. We will definitely return to visit the city in more depth and Bistrot Canossa will be a fixed stop. 🥳🥳

08/06/2025: This morning for the first time I bought a small pastry cabaret at this shop. It was a magnificent experience of taste, but also visual. There is a wide choice, very fresh and quality products. Very tasty.
18/05/2025: Even though we were in Reggio Emilia, this breakfast made us feel like we were in Naples! High quality products. Highly recommended!

Ristorante Il Bianello

03/06/2025: High-end restaurant, certainly not cheap but in line with the excellent food and service. Impeccable service that was able to propose lactose-free variations to their dishes in an instant. For children there are tortelli and pasta with ragù for example, for adults more refined dishes. The fried gnocco is good but in my opinion a little heavy, high quality cured meats as well as the very good meat and perfectly cooked. Very good tortelli as well as the egg pancake. We had lunch on Sunday and then we visited the Bianello castle which is adjacent. The restaurant's parking lot is about 80/100 meters away, with a narrow uphill road. Those who have walking problems must be accompanied in front of the restaurant by car but where they may not be able to park because there will be space for only one car or at most two, depending on whether it is free.
