We came to eat at the Poggio farm, it was really good, kind and smiling.

I review the right places because I follow the right advice and recommendations. Fattoria il Poggio was simply a fantastic experience. We spent two nights there over three days, sampling the various menus listed on the menu and recommended by the staff. Both times, the service and the preparation of the dishes were impeccable, from bruschetta to cured meats, from appetizers to dessert, from excellent first courses to succulent meats, including the legendary Pappa al Pomodoro. Everything was divinely good in flavor, texture, and, last but not least, in the always generous and satisfying portions, especially for someone like me who honors the table when we sit down. The wines are exceptional, all local and of their own production, and the quality/price ratio is unmatched. Highly recommended if you're in the area; not far from Montecatini Terme and Lucca, but also from Florence, it's worth the trip.

We had dinner in the cellar, and despite it being crowded with tourists, the service was quick and flawless. The food was excellent and plentiful, and the prices were reasonable. The only downside, if you're willing to find one, is the outdoor bathrooms, outside the restaurant. Highly recommended!

Empfehlung unseres Vermieters und an einem Sonntag Abend voll belegt. Für uns zwei gab es trotzdem Platz und die Empfehlung hat sich gelohnt. Essen und Service war gut und mit musikalischer Untermalung unter einer immergrünen Magnolie war das ein tolles Erlebnis.

Viajando con nuestro coro, habíamos estado viajando por el área local durante cuatro días. No sabíamos qué esperar, pero teniendo en cuenta que éramos 170, algunos sin gluten, algunos vegetarianos, algunos jóvenes, algunos mayores, este lugar era maravilloso y nos trató a todos tan bien! ¡Muy eficiente! Nos sirvieron en largas mesas de caballete en una hermosa marquesina, probablemente utilizado para desayunos de boda, y no un mantel de papel a la vista! Era la última noche de nuestra gira, así que éramos un poco ruidosos y demob feliz con la charla, pero fue encantador! Tuvimos una comida tradicional, con degustación de vino local en una especie de fiesta de envoltura para nosotros. Un muy buen final para un viaje maravilloso. Bien hecho Rayburn Tours y Jupiter’s Pippa para reservar esto para nosotros!
