I've been there several times with my family and I must say I've always eaten and drank WELL. Highly recommended.

Fattoria Il Poggio a Montecarlo is a highly regarded farmhouse restaurant offering authentic Tuscan cuisine, generous portions, and friendly service. Its rustic atmosphere and spacious rooms are also suitable for groups and families. In addition to the restaurant, it offers tours of the vineyard and olive grove, tastings of its own DOC/IGT wines, and direct sales of wine and oil, making it a complete food and wine destination in the Lucca hills.

I was there with a Gate One tour. It was absolutely amazing I sent home by mail the olive oil, balsamic and wine. all were so great. I just re - ordered two more cans of the olive oil. Well worth the shipping.

Ample parking, beautifully decorated restaurant, quiet location, fast and friendly service, delicious and plentiful first courses, and the Florentine steak is superb!!! We'll definitely be back.

Very good restaurant, the food was excellent. I am vegetarian and, although I was in an organized group and I had not announced this in advance, the staff was very kind and prepared a special menu for me. In addition, there are two very nice dogs, Bruno and Alice, who make the atmosphere even more pleasant. I really appreciated the attention and care towards the customer. I highly recommend!

A lovely, slightly secluded restaurant with ample and convenient parking. The location is charming and diverse, with space for large tables and much more intimate dining areas. The food is varied but not overwhelming. The first courses are excellent, while the second course is dominated by meat, cooked by people who know how to make it. The desserts are simple but delicious. The service is attentive without being intrusive. The price is fantastic: quality, quantity, and affordability. Five stars without a doubt.

We spent two nights there over three days, sampling the various menus listed on the menu and recommended by the staff. Both times, the service and the preparation of the dishes were impeccable, from bruschetta to cured meats, from appetizers to dessert, from excellent first courses to succulent meats, including the legendary Pappa al Pomodoro. Everything was divinely good in flavor, texture, and, last but not least, in the always generous and satisfying portions, especially for someone like me who honors the table when we sit down. The wines are exceptional, all local and of their own production, and the quality/price ratio is unmatched. Highly recommended if you're in the area; not far from Montecatini Terme and Lucca, but also from Florence, it's worth the trip.
