I was looking for a little place to taste a good Fiorentina and I found it, Fattoria il Poggio is one of those pleasant places to spend an evening in company, the staff is kind and helpful, I recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Found it by chance on a trip to Lucca. And thank goodness, we ate really well. Tuscan cuisine, pappa al pomodoro, steak, antipasti, cheeses, everything excellent, even the house wine. Very welcoming place, impeccable and friendly service. Great price: for €50 a head, we had a wonderful time. Recommended!

04/08/2026: It's not easy to earn stars with a table for 13. We'll return as a couple and enjoy even more: the view, homemade pasta, ragù, and quality meats, the wine list that's a pleasure to linger over, etc. My kids even went crazy for the desserts! Well done! PS: A charming medieval village that's well worth the short climb.
02/08/2026: Delightful setting with a wonderful view. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was really good. The only flaw was that we ordered two steaks, and half of one was just fat. We pointed this out, and it was taken off our bill. We were still happy with the way they resolved the issue. We'll definitely be back.

06/08/2026: Amazing food when we visited in July. We enjoyed every dish. The wine selection was perfect. The service excellent. We had a Lucca local who had moved to Australia recommend it for our visit to Lucca and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend a booking. Thank you.
