Breakfast was rather basic, but with very good ham! And the pre-ordered dinner was a quite good three-course meal! The room was small, but the bathroom had a small shower cubicle! The hotel was located right on the beach.

Loved the ambiance of the dining hall with the old barrels in the cellar! Stopped here with a tour group and ate and drank a much as we could! Mostly the merlot!

What a fantastic experience we had at the vineyard, wine was great lovely selection, food was perfect and the company well we were lucky to experience it with a lovely couple from canada, we would highly recommend it to anyone worth a visit showing you how they make the oil and go through the wine 🍷 😀

I visited Fattoria II Poggio in October 2023 when I visited Venice, Florence and Roma. The atmosphere and food were amazing. Learning about olives and actually seeing them being grown was a great learning experience. Purchased their olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette while there. Just purchased another bottle of each and can’t wait till it arrives.

29/03/2026: The times (unfortunately rare...) that we pass through these parts, "Il Vecchio Olivo" is our 'mandatory' stop!!! Excellent food, courteous and discreet staff, prices absolutely in line with the quality and execution... In short, for us, coming from Rome, it's the TOP!!! Highly recommended 😉👍🔝
