We had lunch on a Sunday, and it was indeed packed.
The menu featured delicious mushroom dishes, but also much more. The service was quick and cheerful; even though it was the second sitting, the owners were cheerful and lively. A truly excellent experience.

I visited this trattoria today, looking for a place to enjoy Piedmontese dishes. I was delighted. The rich flavors were evident, each dish boasting its own unique flavors. The Fassone tartare topped with mushrooms was excellent, the goat's cheese toma was bursting with flavor, the plin pasta with roast gravy was explosive and not at all industrial, the mushroom risotto was an explosion of porcini mushroom aromas and flavors, and to finish, I'd never tasted such a creamy lemon sorbet. I highly recommend trying it.

After trying restaurants that were on paper more virtuous and with a garden/outdoor area, I took some French tourists to eat in a place known mostly for its farinata. Excellent tagliolini with truffle, a black truffle that immediately reaches your nose, for my personal taste perhaps I should have anticipated some fresh pasta a little more undercooked, tartare of Fassona with truffle and for dessert zabaglione with Moscato. We had a better time than in more formal places. Both for the food and for the service. Small sore point the broken bathroom sink (temporary problem) and I thought that having to pass in front of the oven turned on for the other sink was a bit inconvenient, but the French had fun.
Account within the norm.

Typical Piedmontese trattoria, in addition to the typical dishes they also make excellent farinata. Very high quality food, the waitress is friendly and professional and the service is fast enough.
The prices are fair and the place is really beautiful.
We had a second helping of the zabaglione with Moscato because it was really excellent.

Trattoria Mazzini is an authentic Piedmontese culinary experience. Cozy atmosphere, attentive service and delicious cuisine. Traditional local flavors such as farinata, ravioli del plin, tripe with a good wine pairing. Excellent value for money.
