Very welcoming little restaurant. Very kind staff and excellent food! The octopus was perfectly cooked and flavorful, the pork cheek melted in your mouth. Special mention for the desserts, top notch!!! We'll definitely be back!

The food is always good and well-prepared, the service is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is clean and tidy. We've had lunch there several times and have always had a great experience. Highly recommended.

Intimate and welcoming atmosphere, amazing food. Even though the place was empty, it was a wonderful dinner; I definitely recommend it. The guy who welcomed us was super kind and helpful. I think it's the perfect place for a romantic dinner for two if you're looking for something elegant but not too much! They also serve a free entree depending on the season: a great idea :)

A wonderful discovery, booked out of curiosity and based on the reviews. Well... I confirm, top-notch cuisine! The menu is limited, yes, but with a good selection... The young man who welcomed us was very discreet, but... present at the right time. We'll definitely return. Compliments to the chef!

A wonderful place for dinner. Excellent cuisine and a good selection of dishes. A very romantic place. I definitely recommend it!!! The helpful staff is always ready to help. We had some difficulties with translation, but thanks to the resourcefulness of the waiter, we had a wonderful evening. Special thanks to him for that ❤️❤️❤️

We went for dinner during the week. Delicious food and perfect portions, with prices in line with Milan's average. Manuele is courteous, kind, welcoming, and always available to answer questions about the dishes and the wine (good!). It was such a positive experience that the two ladies who were with me returned for lunch the following days: the food was obviously simpler, excellent for quick lunch breaks for workers, but still of high quality (€12 for a first course, second course, water, and a glass of wine). Spoiler alert: besides the food, the ladies also appreciated the warm smile of the kind chef Tommaso!

17/04/2026: We ate here thanks to a Smartbox that was given to us. To our great surprise, it was one of the best dinners. The outdoor setting is super cute, sheltered, and has a wonderful atmosphere. Even before eating, the service was impeccable. Kudos to all the ladies who were very attentive, the bread basket was refilled without even asking, and the plates were picked up at the right times. Present but not intrusive. A special mention to the waiter (you can tell he has some experience with the place) who explained the menu to us exceptionally well, making us want to eat before we even ordered. Finally, the food: I couldn't find a single flaw. From the creamed beetroot to the tagliatelle with wild boar ragu, delicious, cooked al dente, generous portions, and a great amount of ragu that allowed us to mop up the bread with bread. The guinea fowl was also delicious, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the pumpkin cream. Finally, even the dessert (often a sore point in restaurants) was delicious: tiramisu as it should be, without cream, just nice and creamy, well-soaked in bitter coffee that provided a lovely contrast to the sweetness of the cream. A fantastic experience, we'll be repeating the à la carte order, too, as we had such a great time. Congratulations to everyone!

27/04/2026: We had a wonderful dinner last friday, served by the best and friendliest waiter, we have ever had. He was not just friendly, also very very helpful by advising us what to eat! He deserves an extra star🌟:) grazie mille
26/04/2026: The conservative opening hours of Milan’s more traditional eateries became only more stringent post covid. MILAN eats early and it is not uncommon that a restaurant closes its kitchen as early as 10pm. Last night was the last of seven of Milan Design week. On leaving an event at 22hrs we walked the dark MILAN streets hungry and in need of rest. We called in to all and many restaurants along our way only to me met with the unwelcome and increasingly familiar “chiuso’ - we’re closed - delivered across the full spectrum from polite and friendly to just rude! That is until we came to.… PANE & TULIPANI! To say the the staff here love their job and welcome you with infectious enthusiasm is an understatement! Not only were we welcomed in, at damn neat 23h by the time we reached them, it was a full welcome with no feeling of haste. Our water was incredibly personable and informed. He suggested puntarella with anchovies that turned out to be finished! We switched to the delicious artichoke only to be surprised when he arrived triumphant with a plate of punteralla they had quickly whipped up for us.… And on the house! On most first nights in italy i crave a simple plate is spaghetti pomodoro ( tomato sauce) … it was not on the menu last night yet, without missing a beat, our waiter made the dish happen for me while sharing his love of that simple dish. Our dinner remained simple.. Two plates of pasta, vongole and tomato, a glass iof white wine and a great derivitave of grappa from Piedmont our waiter insisted we discover. Despite the hour we never felt rushed. The whole experience was superbly typical of a Milan of yesteryear that thankfully lives on. Thank you and congratulations to all of the team for an unexpected experience of great food and welcome. The cherry on the cake was that I left my jacket behind and only discovered it when we had just reached home. My brother turned back to walk to collect it.… only to meet our waiter who had come half way to meet him!!! BRAVO PANE & TULIPANI!!!
