My gratitude goes out to Sergio who provided my wife and I an unforgettable wine tasting experience. The time and care Sergio and his staff took in guiding us through the nuances of each Brunello were nothing short of remarkable. It was evident that Sergio is passionate about teaching and sharing his knowledge with those who visit this store. Looking forward to returning!

The wine shop is well stocked and you can do tastings. It is located inside the Montalcino fortress and therefore in a historic place which gives it charm and offers a unique experience

Amazing wine tasting and meal without a reservation. Highly recommend! Waiter very knowledgeable about the wines shared!

The only reason to go here for a glass (or bottle, or full tasting) of wine is the iconic and picturesque location inside the Fortezza. Otherwise, go elsewhere for more friendly service and better prices. The staff here were not warm or welcoming and seemed like they could barely be bothered to serve me a glass of $15 (overpriced) wine.

We loved our brief stop here for wine tasting! 25 euros for 3 tastings of Brunello, with cheese and crostini. The server was friendly and able to describe the wines to us in English. Maybe best of all is the atmosphere: nice shaded area while we were there, INSIDE the medieval fort!!
