Fantastic food and a lovely atmosphere. Super friendly service. A truly wonderful restaurant all around. We had the best pasta we've had in ages, and the dessert was amazing. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Pleasing everyone is no easy task, but Enoteca Guanella succeeded. Cristina recommended excellent champagne and two different magnums of Valtellinesi Grumello and Casa Rainoldi Sforzato, paired with seafood first courses and traditional mountain main courses, such as saddle of venison and tender, flavorful braised beef. The cheeses were a triumph; we loved the mandarin sorbet and lemon tartlet. The harmonious atmosphere of the setting, the good food, and the professionalism of the attentive staff transformed our dinner into an evening we will cherish in our memories. Congratulations to you all!

The interior is very beautiful and well-kept, with kind and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations. I ordered the duck, and considering the price (30 euros), I expected much higher quality: the portions were very small (four slices), and the meat was quite tough. It was a disappointment, especially since other diners at the table had the same impression with other dishes. You expect more from a place of this caliber, especially considering the price.

Enoteca Guanella is a place we truly love and always come back to. It’s a restaurant and wine shop with an intimate, cozy atmosphere, outstanding food, an incredible wine selection, and excellent service. We have visited this place several times over the years — not every day in a row, but once every few years — and what truly impresses us is that the quality of both the food and the service has never changed. It has always remained at a very high level. The wine selection is simply breathtaking. One very special feature of this enoteca is that you can come just to buy wine from their collection — wines you would never find in a regular supermarket. Or, during dinner, you can choose any bottle they have in stock — wine, Prosecco, Champagne — and enjoy it with your meal by paying only €10 extra on top of the retail price. This is such a rare and wonderful concept. The wines are truly exceptional. We ordered a Sicilian wine from 2014, and it was absolutely magical. I personally adore wines from Southern Italy — Puglia and Sicily — but what they offer here is on another level: real exclusives that simply must be tried. We even bought the same bottle to take home, and it turned out to be the very last one they had. Special thanks to Cristina for the excellent service and for helping us choose both the wine and the dishes — her recommendations were perfect. Another highlight worth mentioning is their organic olive oil. It is served at the table, and you can also buy it to take home. We do this every single time we visit. Whenever we return to Bormio, we will absolutely come back here again. Thank you very much — highly recommended!
