Excellent wine tasting and focaccia

Simply spectacular...a pleasant surprise.

We had lunch at this wonderful wine bar in Montalcino. Don't be fooled by the outdoor tables; perhaps you can eat inside, which is very quaint and has a lovely atmosphere. The food was very, very good. We tried a game platter featuring all the unusual cured meats, followed by two truly delicious meat dishes: duck à l'orange and pork cheek in red wine. All this was accompanied by two lovely glasses of Brunello di Montalcino, truly delicious. Overall, I think it's one of the best places to stop for a meal or a drink if you're in the area. A truly charming and scenic place in the heart of Montalcino. We had delicious truffle crostini and a polenta tart with porcini mushrooms and pecorino cheese (vegetarian)! Truly delicious! I highly recommend it for the food and the atmosphere, and the waiters' jokes are worth a look...

Unfortunately, the lasagna was cold inside. It was also quite expensive, and the portions were small.

A delightful little restaurant in the center of Montalcino. The host was attentive and friendly. Fantastic food, with mixed crostoni and pinci (a perfect 10). I recommend making a reservation for dinner; highly recommended.

A fantastic experience at this wine shop. If you're looking for a place to discover Brunello, I recommend this place. We did a tasting of three wines, focusing on small local wineries. Thanks to the waiter's guidance, who was able to direct us and provide us with interesting information, we tasted amazing wines that we also purchased. The food was also good.

Mi dispiace scrivere ciò, ma cenare qui é stata un po' un'Odissea... Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per cena e ci hanno proposto come orario le 21.30, che abbiamo accettato volentieri. Siamo arrivate 20 minuti prima chiedendo se potevamo nel frattempo bere qualcosa e attendere finché il tavolo non sarebbe stato pronto. Il personale é stato gentile e accogliente e ci ha fatte accomodare. Purtroppo però, per ricevere il bere abbiamo atteso circa mezz'ora e, dopo aver ordinato le portate della cena, abbiamo atteso un'ora per ricevere l'antipasto (i crostini misti). Nel frattempo ci é stato comunicato, dopo aver ordinato e in due momenti separati, che due dei piatti che avevamo scelto non erano più disponibili... In generale, il cibo era buono e i prezzi in media con gli altri ristoranti della zona. Non so se abbiamo avuto sfortuna noi con il servizio, ma comunque sia penso non sia giustificabile un ritardo del genere e credo che vadano comunicati da subito i piatti non disponibili.
