Best Margherita pizza and WORST CALZONE I EVER HAD. The calzone bread tasted like chemicals and made me want to vomit. The pasta was good along with Margherita.

This was my group’s best meal in Rome, also with the best and friendliest service. It was highly recommended by our tour guide and is also popular with the locals. The pizza, service, and atmosphere were all amazing. If you want some local pizza, or even pasta, this has to be a destination on your list. The Italian gin and tonic was delicious also!! If you won’t be there when they open at 6:30, I’d recommend a reservation.

Had an incredible meal at Emma in Rome! The place has a cozy, modern vibe, and the staff is super friendly. I had the pizza and pasta, both were fantastic—perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients. But the real standout was the cheese with truffle, which was absolutely amazing! The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. If you’re in Rome and want a place with great food and a relaxed atmosphere, Emma is definitely worth a visit!

Me and my fiancé had an amazing meal at Emma’s in January 2025, we were sat outside on the terrace with the heaters so it was nice and warm even in the middle of January! Maria was our server. She was extremely knowledgeable with regards to wine and food parings and gave us some great food suggestions from the winter menu. The Roman spinach starter was absolutely amazing. We had two pasta dishes that were unbelievable, the flavours and textures throughout the two dishes were perfectly balanced and complimented by the Tuscan white wine made an amazing dining experience. We followed our pasta dishes with a Tiramisu, selection of Italian biscotti, Emma’s blend espresso and Limoncello… We will be coming back to Rome in the future and no doubt will be visiting Emma’s again for another exceptional dining experience! I would recommend Emma’s to anyone visiting Rome ! Thanks again Maria :)

The best pizza I ever had. When it comes to reviewing restaurants, I'm extremely strict. But this specific place, hands down ! - the pizza has thin crust and is very moist - I've never eaten anything like this. So if you prefer thick crust and dry pizza (no judgement) this place is not for you - even the basic pizza was extremely delicisous, I was coming back for margaritas, they were dreamy ! Simply the best one I've ever had and so traveled to many places ! - the tiramisu was super tasty too. Looks great and tastes even better. - very nice service, but make sure to make an appointment in advance. They tend to be full.

Pizza and pasta were as good as the reviews forecast. Service was outstanding and location was great. We enjoyed several appetizers along with requisite bread and oil, to start. Indoor and outdoor seating available and large downstairs eating area.

Sono stato il 10 luglio a cena con sei amici, la scelta venendo dal desiderio di manguare la pinsa (ed altro) fatta secondo la ricetta del forno Roscioli. Tutto è andato benissimo, compreso il dolce al cioccolato che era una meraviglia... Unica punto non positivo era che l'appuntamento della prenotazione era alle 8.30 ed alcuni di noi erano arrivati poco dopo le 8, ma nonostante ciò non ci hanno fatto accomodare nel locale fino ad almeno un quarto d'ora dopo l'appuntamento, quindi per alcuni di noi l'attesa (in piedi, per strada) è stata un po' lunga.
