Absolutely fantastic food here. Traditional Italian food cooked correctly and served in a lovely setting by very attentive staff. Had it for dinner then lunch immediately the next day so I could try a different dish. This place had come highly recommended both online and by a colleague who is a Rome veteran. They are not wrong. The tomatoes in the bruschetta were so red and juicy, compared to what I get delivered in the UK by one of the big supermarket giants. Go here and enjoy a lovely meal at a very reasonable cost.

The food is great but nothing extraordinary. We sat outside under a tent and it wasn't to my liking as I wouldve enjoyed a better ambience/view. If you just care about eating good pizza, I would still recommend this place :)

This might've been the best meal I've ever eaten. All the pasta is fantastic, the best of the best, and I think I saw heaven when I tasted the pistachio ice cream. In our party of four, everyone was filled with euphoria after the meal. This is not a dramatization

The pizza is amazing! We had a reservation, but you don't really need one; a group without a reservation got in without waiting. The place is very spacious and comfortable. They have a great wine list.

Pasticceria Rosticceria Salentina Roma

07/12/2025: Bought a gluten-free pasticciotto cake and pasticciotti today. It felt like being in Salento!! Excellent quality and flavor, first time here, will definitely be back, maybe even trying the savory version.
09/11/2025: I came to this humble pasticceria specifically to get the Rustica Leccese and it did not disappoint! This small pastry shop in Trieste specializes in the pastries of Salento, the southern part of Puglia - the heel of the Italian boot. It's made in house and authentically shares the flavours and artisanal craft of the region. My favourite are the rustici from Lecce, flakey pastry filled with mozzarella, tomato and besciamella, best eaten when they are warm out of the oven. I also had the cornetti con crema e nocciola (Nutella). They take cash and cards. Worth a visit to northern Rome for a taste of southern Italy! Also note, the area has a school and very little parking. Better to go on foot!
