The place is very nice, the starters and first courses were good, but I didn't like the second course and the dessert.

The menu was rather limited but very well-balanced. The food was very good and beautifully presented. We had three appetizers for two and two main courses with two sparkling waters for €48. Unlike other reviews, it didn't seem expensive at all. Eating outside on November 1st with such pleasant temperatures isn't something everyone can do every day. We were just passing through while waiting for the villa/castle to open, but if we ever return, we'll definitely be back.

On a beautifully sunny October Sunday, we were able to eat outside, in front of the Castle, serving pumpkin, pistachio, and stracciatella gnocchi and hazelnut cake with warm zabaglione. Everything was excellent!!! The staff and owner were very kind. The interior of the restaurant, located on the first floor, was also worth a visit, very characteristic and extremely welcoming. We hope to return one day.

08/07/2025: A very small but excellent wine bar in Borgomale. We were there for dinner and had a mixed plate of typical Italian antipasti, as well as two regional pasta dishes each. Everything was very well prepared and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere in the old cellar was both rustic and modern. The wine selection is usually extensive in this region, but they also offer wines by the glass if there are only two of you and you can't finish a whole bottle.
