The locals’ favourite restaurant with local dishes. Here you can see, choose and taste home made meals typical for Apulia. The major of the clients are locals which is great recommendation if you have in mind the many tourist traps in the town. There is a pasta dish I would never choose by its appearance or by its explanation in the menu (only tomatoes with some a bit hot spice) - spaghetti all'assassina. But it’s a must try! Delicious, spicy, a bit crispy - our new favourite kind of pasta! Here you can have it paying less than in any classic restaurant.

I regret we didn't come here straight away and lost one day without this wonderful food. Everything tastes homemade and done with love. Must try lassania and makaroni. Self service but staff helps you out to pick food and do their best to talk in English.

It feels like an Italian home-cooked meal in a cafeteria! It's not too much, but it's healthy enough, and the eggplant dish was especially delicious. Most of the customers are locals and the prices are really cheap. It's simple but delicious, and it's even better because it feels like a regular neighborhood restaurant rather than a tourist attraction. The gelato place across the street is also really good, so you can enjoy a complete meal by eating here and then going to the gelato place for dessert. 😌

26/07/2025: There are experiences that you never forget, and the one we had in this restaurant is undoubtedly one of them. Together with my family, we found ourselves immersed in an authentic, warm and welcoming atmosphere, where every detail seemed designed to make us feel at home... but with something more: respect for tradition, love for cooking and a professionalism that is rarely encountered. As soon as we crossed the threshold, we were greeted by an impeccable staff: discreet, kind, present without ever being intrusive. A composure and care for the guest that struck us right away and that accompanied our entire stay, making it harmonious and relaxing. And then the food... how wonderful. Each dish told a story: that of their land, generous and full of authentic flavors. From the rich and fragrant appetizers, to the expertly prepared second courses, up to the desserts that left a smile on our lips... each bite was a little journey into this wonderful land rich in flavors and tradition. It is rare to find a place where the quality of the cuisine marries so well with the soul of the service and the beauty of the atmosphere. This restaurant gave us a precious moment, made of taste, human warmth and true tradition. We will return, without a doubt.
