We spent a short weekend in Italy, and Triste was our last stop. My husband found El Fornel on a Sunday evening, and we had an extraordinary time. The manager spoiled us from start to finish with his kindness and generous dishes. We enjoyed the fresh, high-quality produce. We even had a little digestif. From

A place not adequately signposted but a stone's throw from Piazza Unità. The fish is very fresh and the service is friendly and attentive. I would go again, and the choice of dishes is varied.

Aside from the practically watered down mussels, everything else was good. The bathroom? Not to mention it. Tiny and narrow with the door opening from the inside. At that point it made me do an acrobat to try to get out. I doubt it would be safe in an emergency

Fantastic experience! My family and I found it by chance in Santo Stefano and we were practically the only ones. The service was impeccable, the quality of the fish and dishes superb! We felt like we were at home. Not to mention the environment, it feels like you're on a real boat. Highly recommended ⭐

12/05/2025: An excellent historic restaurant/trattoria especially for fish. Good selection of starters, fish first and second courses, land menu available. Very courteous and helpful staff. Pleasant internal environment and shaded outdoor garden with tables under umbrellas. Homemade desserts and bread. Fair prices. Children's games available in the garden. Very recommended
