Very good and friendly service, delicious food, and an incredibly great atmosphere. The cozze and spaghetti con vongole are highly recommended.

Exquisite welcome, the host explained the dishes to us with grace and precision. Quiet environment, decidedly marine, rich in history and consistent with the port city. Listening, attention and care for the guest will remain impressed. In addition to the excellent fresh fish. Absolutely not to be missed.

We spent a short weekend in Italy, and Triste was our last stop. My husband found El Fornel on a Sunday evening, and we had an extraordinary time. A place not adequately signposted but a stone's throw from Piazza Unità. The fish is very fresh and the service is friendly and attentive. I would go again, and the choice of dishes is varied.

Aside from the practically watered-down mussels, everything else was good. The bathroom? Not to mention it. Tiny and cramped, with the door opening from the inside. It made me do acrobatics to try to get out. I doubt it'd be safe in an emergency.

19/08/2025: The excellent meal, very pleasant service, good location, in the countryside, the impression was spoiled only by the very noisy main road, behind the green fence behind the tables.
17/08/2025: The fried fish was plentiful and delicious... but three lemon parfaits tasted like nothing, absolutely nothing, they tasted like cardboard, and at €7.50 each, it seems excessive to me.
