Cucina gourmet elevatissima. Siamo clienti di questo ristorante praticamente dalla sua apertura. Uno chef dalla visione creativa, professionale ma personale, mai fuori dalle righe. Una cena dopo l’altra da custodire nel cuore. In sala personale Dall’altissima professionalità e conoscenza del mestiere e dal calore umano Che non necessariamente Si incontra in questo tipo di ristorante. Grazie!!!!!

I’ve ate at many Michelin star restaurants in various countries. The deserve a star for sure. Very creative presentations, the food was amazing, and the service was exactly how we liked. I highly recommend…as for the bad reviews, I would take them with a grain of salt, as many people have tampered expectations and attitudes.

Really nice restaurant and really interesting flavours. Great innovation by the chef and the service lived up to its Michelin recommendation. We went for the set menu and really enjoyed it.

Encontramos Ego en la guía Michelin roja y tuvimos una gran y sabrosa cena. Fuimos recibidos por una Maitre muy conocedora que compartió su saber - cómo en vino y aceite de oliva. Unfortunately the food is more appearance than taste. Cooked very salty. The service was very attentive. We were alone for a long time, which was a bit uncomfortable. Later, of the only 6 tables, 2 more were occupied. Conclusion: too expensive for the performance.

10/01/2025: In September, my husband and I dined at this spot in Matera, which seemed popular with tour groups. Though hesitant at first, we gave it a try as the staff was friendly and it was getting late. We had the crusco peppers, Matera-style meatless meatballs, vongole, and Lucana-style carbonara. The vongole was our favorite, and while surprised the meatballs were meatless, they were still tasty. The crispy peppers were unique and crunchy, not like bell peppers. With the right expectations, it’s a good choice—especially if you can beat the crowds.
07/01/2025: Everything excellent! Typical Lucanian food, tasty dishes, polite and friendly staff. I absolutely recommend it. The service is fast. I would absolutely go back :) try the crispy peppers as a starter :))
