Edi House In Firenze

I’ve no idea why this place is only 4.1. I’d leave 6 stars if I could. First, it has the atmosphere that puts you at ease, the quintessentially Italian way. I took a small table by the door on a quiet Sunday evening, with a wonderful view. Being the only non-Italian there made it even more special. It’s a place where elderly couples come for dinner, fathers meet sons, families come by and say a familiar “hi” to the owner and staff, folks from around the corner pick up their pizzas. The place felt one of the most local I’ve visited in Italy. Such a contrast to the rest of Florence centre. Second, the food. 10/10. Wild boar pasta and tiramisu - unforgettable. I have the feeling the rest of the menu is superb too. All at completely reasonable prices. Third - service. Top-notch but unpretentious. Attentive, fast, friendly. So happy I came across it by chance, and definitely would come back!

Very good restaurant! We went on the recommendation of the receptionist at our hotel and we liked it so much that we went again the next day and had dinner there again. One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten in my life. And what to say about the tiramisu... out of 10! Plus the prices are quite reasonable.

Located in Piazza Savonarola, with car parking right in front. Quiet and very comfortable area. Well-kept and trendy environment. Presence of air-conditioned external veranda. We are welcomed by a welcoming, kind and very professional staff. Present services well maintained. Having chosen the place in the reservation, we ordered 6 beers, an appetizer platter, spaghetti alla carrettiera, three pizzas (2 pork and a buffalo margherita), two coffees. Total €.93. TESTING: Blonde beer in 0.40l format, marked Pedavena, very good and thirst-quenching. Very large appetizer, plates of cold cuts, Pecorino, crostini. Excellent divided for two Large and of good quality. Spaghetti alla Carrettiera are the best. Tomato enveloping the pasta, balanced spicy. The first courses are portioned well. Pizzas are good size, fair and balanced price, low style, very good to take... Evening weather: Quiet environment, with average clientele. Excellent starting point for an evening with friends, or with your wife. RECOMMENDED for everyone to try this pizzeria restaurant

Un’istituzione a Firenze. Ottimo cibo, belle porzioni e offerta variegata dalla pizza al pesce tutto si gran qualità. A questo si aggiunge un servizio veloce, gentile e di casa che a Firenze è difficile trovare. Completa il tutto una location molto bella nella splendida piazza savonarola
