Eataly In Pinerolo

When we happen to Pinerolo we always enjoy a lunch break at Eatitaly. The food is good (a little expensive actually) and the location is nice. Today, however, two strange things happened: the first was that in the salad ordered by my wife, mixed together with the lettuce and lettuce, there was also a paper pellet the size, to give you an idea, of a paper handkerchief (hopefully not used). Unfortunately we only noticed it at the end. We reported this to the staff behind the counter (where we were sitting) who expressed an apology that was not even remotely heartfelt to say the least! Second strange thing is that when it was time to pay, and it wasn't our intention not to pay for the dish ordered, not even two words of displeasure or, I don't know, two coffees offered. It's not for money but I believe that a bit of courtesy and kindness towards customers is never out of place.....but perhaps it's enough that they just bring the money and a lot of it. Sorry!

Organized an evening with friends, unfortunately we were not satisfied with the service due to the long wait, 35 minutes passed before we could order and then we waited about an hour to start eating... after finishing the cut with potatoes the bread arrived. After eating some bruschetta, my friend had to ask why after an hour and a half his cut had not yet arrived! As for the food, the slices were really small for the price paid (more than €20) and tough, while the pizza was normal. However, I was impressed by the customer service who contacted me to apologize for what happened and offer me a discount. We returned and tried appetizers, the first being the tagliatelle again which this time was very good. Compliments

The quality of the food and the kindness of the staff cannot be discussed, but for some dishes the portions are truly tiny compared to the price. For example, for 24.90 euros you can't have a tiny square of cod with two artichokes on your plate... even if it's delicious.

Congratulations to Mrs. Sonia who welcomes diners with kindness and professionalism at the Pinerolo headquarters. Excellent quality food excellently prepared. Absolutely an experience worth living.

I understand that Italy deals with the best of Italian products but some of the same brands on sale in stores other than Italy have much more convenient prices.

Sinceramente non capisco proprio le critiche... il cibo è di grandissima qualità, fritto misto di pesce abbondante (un po' costoso, ma giustificato da qualità e quantità) e pizze particolari e gustose. Prezzi leggermente sopra la media, personale un po' distratto ma molto cortese, e a me piace che alcuni tavoli siano tra gli scaffali del supermercato, rende il posto più particolare e suggestivo

Anche in questo caso mi riferisco al punto vendita e non alla ristorazione, dato che il negozio non è presente in maniera autonoma. Ci sono tornato sabato scorso dopo alcuni anni e, pur non essendo grande come altri punti vendita presenti in altre città (ho in mente Eataly Smeraldo di Milano, che frequento spesso) abbiamo trovato ampio assortimento di prodotti, anche locali. Infatti abbiamo comperato, oltre a delle uova freschissime, un vermouth particolare che a Milano è reperibile difficilmente e che è veramente buono. Torneremo ancora, quando passeremo di qui.
