A well-known, Michelin-starred restaurant with a fairly high reputation. I'd been there in 2018, and while the dishes were undoubtedly delicious, I found the quality of the wines accompanying the tasting menu to be less impressive (which, while excellent the first time, I found rather mediocre this time). However, the atmosphere was also more pleasant, compared to the stuffy and oppressive one of the past. The price is obviously commensurate with the type of establishment: once every seven years, it's bearable!

A culinary tasting experience not to be missed… 11/10. Reservations are essential and highly recommended. We visited with friends, and our table of four enjoyed the tasting menu and were met and served by Cico himself. Excellent service from the front of house team. We will be back. Neither good nor bad.
We came from Sardinia specifically to take advantage of an ongoing offer and enjoy the cuisine of one of Italy's most renowned restaurants and chefs. The experience fell short of expectations. I don't know if it was due to Chef Sultano's absence, but in our opinion, few dishes were worthy of a Michelin star. The same goes for the wine pairings; in our opinion, only two were spot-on. The experience was made more enjoyable by the waiter who looked after us throughout the evening, professional yet warm. However, the service was also subpar: too frenetic, poor communication between colleagues, and, sadly, the Sommelier: throughout the evening, he gave the impression of being annoyed, hasty, and uncommunicative.
In conclusion, I found two things in poor taste: the constant coming and going of chefs who came out to smoke while there were still customers in the dining room (truly bad taste in any restaurant, let alone a ⭐⭐), and the lack of clarity regarding the welcome glass, the homemade liqueur before dessert, and the final passito. If you don't mention when the wine tasting begins and ends, you risk thinking they're included in the tasting (only to find them on the bill as separate items, along with a second bottle of water that was never drunk). It's clear that those who dine at these restaurants have no problem with spending, but clarity never hurts and is always in good taste.

High expectations probably didn't allow for a full appreciation of the menu... highs and lows... too much acidity in many dishes... poor balance... service with some flaws... The promotional menu and crowded dining rooms must have contributed. The sultan, even though he was in the kitchen, didn't welcome or greet the guests... a kindness I've appreciated in other Michelin-starred restaurants... he might be shy... who knows?! The lamb was excellent.
