Extraordinary experience, the best lunch of my life, upon entering it was a pleasure to immediately meet the chef who was also present during the culinary journey, after the restaurant manager made us sit in a welcoming and elegant room Marta welcomed us and took care of us and pampers us in this lunch for our anniversary, bubbles, breadsticks to start accompanied with bread made by them with oil and smoked butter small but intense in flavor also the entree, busiate Palermo style simply excellent but the lamb superlative the cottuara technique makes it It makes mornido and unique taste worth the two stars, I'll only mention the small pastry shop, thank you all

Great lunch tasting menu, surprising mix of taste and perfect wine pairing. Amazing truffle ice cream! We liked the local products and wines served and the absolute kindness of the staff.

I would like to point out that it is not my habit to write negative reviews, behind every business there are people who sweat and work hard to offer services that require time and dedication, this negative review is left to punish malice and the reiteration of a sin which, as I read from other reviews, it is not an isolated case. I commonly read about connoisseurs, who, like the Trilussa snail, are convinced that they are acquiring superfine qualities by praising or denigrating the dishes of great chefs, a bit like gnawing away at the notoriety that the latter bring with them. I'm not here to discuss food, more or less good dishes, more or less delicious dishes, more or less refined dishes; it is a two Michelin star. There is a story behind it that few can afford to judge, but the service, the feeling of having been deceived, by Minos I point the finger and judge. If at the beginning I thought I was wrong, in noticing that the two glasses of champagne and the two glasses of passito were not included in the itinerary, reading the other reviews I understood that the modus operandi repeats itself! I don't want to demand anything, every request must be paid if "Request" indeed, if someone comes to my table asking me "Would the gentlemen like a glass of Champagne or something else" without being accompanied by the menu, I suppose that, as has happened in other high-end establishments range, the glasses are part of the welcome and not the aperitif (I had already had a Campari spritz before entering, why have another aperitif?). If then, upon arrival of the desserts, two glasses are brought to the table at the same time, asking me again what type of liqueur I would like, this time too without the accompanying menu, again I assume that they are part of the journey (among the other glass taken away without my consent is still full) and if a second bottle of water is opened to fill an empty glass at the end of the meal I would like to be asked "Would you like another water?" and I decide whether to suffer from thirst or not. Moral of the story I found myself charged 107 euros unsolicited, and don't blame me for having to ask, I challenge anyone to answer the question "Would you like it" with "But is there a charge?". The English would say “Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me”, it's my fault to take it for granted, it's your fault for not changing a wrong attitude if it's pointed out.

An excellent starred restaurant in a small pearl of Sicily: Ragusa. There's no point even just reviewing the service or the environment, everything is taken care of and first rate. The gastronomic journey is unique, its name is a whole programme: Stupor Mundi. The chef combines different dishes with absolutely unique and intense flavours, which involve without boring, but wonderful (hence the name) those who taste them. If you pass through Ragusa I would say it is a must.

Incredible. Worth the visit. Perhaps my favorite meal ever. Do not pass on the wine tasting. Sicilian wines are on point 🙌🏼

The food is very nice. We had the executive lunch with wine pairing and were happy with that as well. However, we were sat down at a table near the main door where staff were constantly walking in and out. There were empty tables inside when we arrived so this was disappointing as it affected the experience - felt very exposed. Service was amicable but rushed. Upon being sat down, we were offered water, and almost immediately after the staff came around with an apertif trolley offering us sparkling wine. We found out this was chargeable only during billing. There's no reason why they can't charge, but the way it was offered (almost immediately upon sitting) with the trolley cart in front of you made you feel it was complementary. They also probably need to communicate more transparently. Coffee was included in set lunch, so when they came around asking what coffee I would like, I requested a cappuccino. However, it was charged as an ala carte order - in short the free coffee was forgone without being informed. This was first time I ever experienced something like this at Michelin star restaurant. Overall was a good experience but felt it was overly commercial. As matter of principle, you should always advise your clients fairly.

Bereits in 2013 (damals noch im „Duomo“ genannten gleichen Restaurant) konnten meine Frau und ich die Sterne-Küche von Ciccio Sultano geniessen und hatten ihn deshalb bewusst für eine Wiederholung bei unserem diesjährigen Sizilien-Aufenthalt gewählt. Die Küchenleistung ist auf mindestens gleichem Niveau wie damals, inzwischen vielleicht noch etwas ausgefeilter und verspielter, immer noch ein Vergnügen für jeden Gourmet. Was noch besser ist als vor 11 Jahren: Der Service – denn dieser ist inzwischen schlichtweg perfekt. Ein eingespieltes, souveränes und sympathisches Team führte durch den Abend, bei dem selbst ich rein gar nichts zu bemängeln hatte. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Tisch im cappucino-braunen Salon und sassen auf bequemen Stühlen, umgeben von schlichter Eleganz, echte Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre. Das Komplett-Menü „Basileus Hyblon“ war unsere Wahl. Es würde den Rahmen sprengen, jeden Gang zu beschreiben, nur so viel: Alle Gänge optisch ansprechend präsentiert, aus hochwertigen Zutaten, mit deutlicher Aromatik, echte Gaumenfreuden. Bei manchem Gang hätte ich am liebsten „da capo“ verlangt… Im Vorabwissen über die rund 90-seitige Weinkarte hatte ich mir diese schon vorher in aller Ruhe im Web angeschaut und konnte daher dem überraschten Sommelier gleich meine Wahl – einen 1er Cru Monopole Les Clos Chardonnay 2017 der Domaine Vougeraie aus dem Vougeot – nennen, was zunächst bei ihm Begeisterung auslöste und eine Viertelstunde später auch bei uns, als wir ihn probieren konnten, er passte exzellent. Falls wir eines Tages ein drittes Mal in Sizilien sein sollten – garantiert wieder hier!

24/07/2024: Great service and variety of dishes. We loved the dessert with pistachio and coffee. We recommend the “Esplorazione” tasting menu. Great wine pairing.
12/07/2024: Fantastic! Be sure to take the large menu and the wine pairing. Outstanding: The sea urchin with watermelon, both pasta dishes - which prove that pasta also works for fine dining. And of course the wines! Big fan of the Marsala! Overall, highly recommended! Thank you!

30/06/2024: Very elegant hotel that recalls the features of the old farms. I stayed in the luxury suite, truly exceptional atmosphere. Also tried the starred restaurant, ate very well. Excellent customer care. Recommended if you pass through Ragusa
08/06/2024: We had the most wonderful dinner at Ristorante Locanda Don Serafina. Outstanding food, wine, and service. Beautiful setting. Could not have enjoyed our meal more!
