We have just had lunch in Il Duomo. It was, as always ,a wonderful experience, and very good value ,the food excellent and the staff welcoming and very professional, a special mention tò my cocktail.We have been many times and will be back.

Not qualified to tell if that's one or two stars, but the experience was quite extraordinary. The bread was perfect, and all 4 courses were fantastic: tuna cooked perfectly to retain the flavors and the pasta was pleasantly creative.
Note that they charge 20eur per person for the aperitif (half a glass of wine), which was a negative surprise.

This was arguably the best meal we had in Sicily. If you love food, I would recommend heading west from Ortigia or east from Agrigiento to eat here and visit the charming Ragusa-Ibla. In addition to out-of-this-world cuisine, the service was absolutely top-notch, with one person dedicated to 4 tables. Why 4 stars for atmosphere? the dining room is very nice and intimate with appropriate music but you don't go here for the view, you go here for the incredible food.

A highlight of our 2-week trip to Sicily, service was impeccable and lots of nice small surprises from the chef.
I liked the uni truffle pasta in a cream sauce very much, and my partner had a fish pasta that I liked even more (lighter). The waiter was happy to provide recs of his favorite dishes as the English menu isn’t very descriptive.
I felt the proteins were on the heavier (fattier) side for my personal taste, and wonder if that’s the style of food in the region. Still, everything was extremely delicious, I was very happy with the complexity and harmony of the flavors.
I got the 2-course for dinner and for me that was enough as I’m not able to eat a ton of food. 8-courses was priced 200 euro. I’d like to go back for lunch one day - 75 euro for 3 courses.

Das Menü ist fantastisch. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön (im grünen Salon). Für mich in Erinnerung bleibend die Minestrone und das Sizilianische Schwein. Weinkarte ist sehr umfangreich, aber relativ hochpreisig (für Italien). Service ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Ein wenig chaotisch, wenn man es mit mitteleuropäischen Sternerestaurants vergleicht.

Forti aspettative per questo ristorante, che ricordo si classifica sempre tra i primi n. 10 in Italia , nel 2024 e’ al n. 5 , e ricordo ha sempre n. 2 stelle Michelin.
Bene, molte conferme ed anche qualche delusione. Sono tanti i piatti eccellenti, le lasagne vegetali, il maialino con crema di castagne e loti, la zuppa di pasta al sapore di mare, gli spaghetti ai ricci di mare.
Qualche piatto meno entusiasmante rispetto a quelli sopra citati si, ma sempre buoni.
La sensazione generale insomma è positiva, ma ci è mancato quel “ WOW “ che ci aspettavamo, quel “WOW” che ti aspetti da un ristorante che a detta di molti ambisce alla terza stella.
Dimenticavo, non si serve il vino se ha molto residuo, e specialmente, se si allerta il sommelier ed il direttore di sala dell’imprevisto, non si prendono i bicchieri e si travasano con uno scolino in altri bicchieri……penso sia il caso invece di scusarsi con gli ospiti, ed aprire una nuova bottiglia.
