High expectations probably didn't allow for a full appreciation of the menu... highs and lows... too much acidity in many dishes... poor balance... service with some flaws... The promotional menu and crowded dining rooms must have contributed. The sultan, even though he was in the kitchen, didn't welcome or greet the guests... a kindness I've appreciated in other Michelin-starred restaurants... he might be shy... who knows?! The lamb was excellent.

I had 3 course lunch. Everything was really good, what I expect from 2 star restaurant. Full of flavour, surprising, different textures. Pasta dish and small portions were the best. I'd only cook lamb a bit less.

Exceptionally good. Very friendly, we didn’t have a reservation but they still found a way to welcoming us. Absolutely amazing food experience! Highly recommend !

I had lunch at Ristorante Duomo in Ragusa Ibla – and it was one of the best culinary experiences of my life.
As soon as you enter, you realize that the highest standards are being met here. The service is excellent – every move is perfect, everything meshes seamlessly together as if in a perfectly staged performance. The wait staff is absolutely superb – professional, attentive, speaks excellent French and English, and explains each dish with passion and knowledge.
The kitchen offers a modern, creative, and subtle interpretation of Sicilian classics. The portion sizes are generous – you can truly "taste" each individual course. I was particularly impressed by the seafood and fish – a culinary level I've never experienced before.
I was worried beforehand – based on some Google reviews – that I would be rushed through the menu. But no way: The dishes are served quickly, but at no point are you rushed through – they offer enough space to enjoy each course in peace.
A special shout-out goes to the sommelier: He served some truly special wines that I won't soon forget. And all of this with extraordinary friendliness and great expertise.
For comparison: The night before, I ate at a one-star restaurant in Noto. I wondered if you could tell the difference – my answer: Yes, absolutely. The service and dishes at the Duomo are at least a notch above.
Simply: Thank you for this wonderful lunch – I'll be back!

There is a reason why this restaurant has 2 Michelin stars and it isn't just for its food (which is spectacular). From the moment we walked in till the moment we left both my partner and myself felt like royalty. The service was impeccable and the attention to detail was second to none. There is no other word that one can use to describe the whole experience except for the word Immaculate. I never cease to be amazed when I eat here and I can't wait to go again in just a few weeks time. Chapeau

A fantastic, long-awaited experience that fully met my expectations. Every dish was of the highest quality, with the boiled scampi and red mullet being superb! The pairing wines were excellent. The service was attentive and the entire staff was friendly. The chef's visits were much appreciated!

My first time at Ciccio Sultano, a culinary experience that was impeccable. I must say the service was also excellent.
As a wine lover, I can't say the same, unfortunately. The sommelier suggested a Chablis to pair with the first course. As soon as he served it, I could clearly see that it was a regional appellation, namely "Bourgogne." I asked for confirmation with the bottle in front of me, and they confirmed it was Chablis, when in fact it was clearly something else entirely. At this point, I drank it without further ado.
One of the reasons I enjoy trying restaurants of this caliber is precisely the fact that I find competent sommeliers. If I had been at Zio Pippo's tavern, I certainly wouldn't have objected, but in a two-Michelin-star restaurant, I have to say I expected significantly greater expertise.
