The food is top-quality, carefully prepared using fresh ingredients. Impeccable service: attentive, friendly, and professional staff. The wine list is extensive and well-chosen, with options to suit every taste. An elegant and welcoming venue, highly recommended!

Excellent dinner, 2 different appetizers and 2 different first courses. The food quality was impeccable! Friendly, precise, and punctual service. The desserts at the end of the dinner were top-notch. I went from the tuna tartare to the pappardelle with shrimp and fresh porcini mushrooms. Exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a high-quality dinner or lunch in an elegant and relaxing setting. Speaking of which, and this is why I'm giving it one less star, I recommend sitting inside because the outdoor tables are close to the street. Lots of cars pass by in the evening, and if you catch a chain-smoking neighbor at your table, you risk not fully enjoying the experience. You pay for quality—fairly so, in my opinion—but you pay! I haven't felt this satisfied after a dinner at a restaurant in a long time; give it a try.

Doppio Gusto – Highly Recommended I wholeheartedly recommend Doppio Gusto. During our holiday stay in Milazzo, we managed to visit Doppio Gusto… twice. Both visits were without a reservation, but we still got a table, even if we were told, “we only have an hour” – respect and thanks to the staff for accommodating us. Next time, of course, we’ll remember to book in advance, and I suggest everyone do the same if they want to enjoy the Doppio Gusto experience. The restaurant has been recently renovated, as we were informed by a very friendly waiter, and features a soft, cozy beige décor. The tables for two are the perfect size, though there are also larger ones that seat six. The pleasant patio and outdoor garden with about 50 seats fill up quickly during dinner hours. We found this place thanks to a Michelin guide recommendation, but it’s clearly a favorite among Milazzo locals as well. And now to what we had on our plates: Red tuna tartare with guacamole and caviar – phenomenal, fresh, and delicate flavor of the fish – worth coming back just for this. Grilled octopus served on potato velouté with confit cherry tomatoes – the strong taste of the sea balanced with the creaminess and lightness of the fluffy potato velouté. Stuffed calamari with green beans – simplicity, freshness, and pure flavor always win – and here, they all shine. Argentinian beef sirloin steak with grilled potatoes – I know this isn’t a very local Sicilian dish, but after two weeks of fish and seafood, I was craving a good-quality piece of meat, and it did not disappoint: cooked to perfection (medium rare), juicy, pink, with a red center. Paired with sea salt and thin slices of grilled potatoes – what more could you want? For dessert: frozen pistachio sphere with a raspberry center – the perfect ending to such a dinner, in such a place, on such an evening. Of course, we cannot forget the impressive wine list – this time we went with a chilled, refreshing, citrusy Grillo, perfect for a hot 30°C summer evening. We left delighted, full, and happy. We will definitely be back.

One of the best seafood restaurants I've ever been to. Excellent service, friendly staff attentive to every guest's needs. Impeccable dishes: high quality and freshness, with a presentation that perfectly reflects the elegance of the restaurant.

The food is perfect, the setting is pleasant, and the servers are friendly. On the other hand, the uncovered terrace is non-smoking, even though they bring you an ashtray. You're told you're in the wrong because customers are complaining. And they bring you the bill without even asking if the meal went well.

Excellent food and a nice place. Prices are a bit high, but not excessive considering the quality.

Avevo chiesto in giro un buon posto per mangiare bene. E mi hanno consigliato il Doppio Gusto. Effettivamente il consiglio è stato azzeccato. Buono l'ambiente, fine e curato. Ottimo ol servizio. Ma principalmente buono il cibo. Purtroppo le cose buone si pagano....e quindi...non è per tutti.

Ho atteso un paio di mesi prima di scrivere 1uesta recensione. Finalmente dopo i lunghi lavori di restyling domenica ho potuto ritrovare Renato e tutto il suo staff. Per la prima volta portavo degli amici e la scommessa era: se trovavano un piatto deludente avrei pagato la colazione per tutto il mese. Ovviamente ho vinto la scommessa. Locale caldo e accogliente, il personale ti mette subito a tuo agio. Attenti ad ogni piccolo particolare. Come al solito Renato riesce subito a capire il livello di appetito (soffro di fame atavica) e i tuoi gusti. Noi abbiamo lasciato a lui carta bianca. Dagli antipasti crudi ai caldi un tripudio di freschezza e bontà. Il bis di primi fantastico, condimento superiore alla grammatura della pasta, spettacolo. Infine chiusura degna con i loro dolci. Non pensate di trovare prezzi economici, il conto è commisurato a quello che si mangia e alla bontà della materia prima. Grazie Renato e complimenti a tutto lo staff.
