I went to Covella Bar Pasticceria in Gioia del Colle for an aperitif with a friend, and I have to say it was excellent! The atmosphere is welcoming and the service impeccable. We'll definitely be back!

Stopped here half way through a 70km bike ride. There was a place out front to sit with our bikes. Inside there was a wonderful display of cakes and pastries. The server was really helpful. The coffee was good to. Well worth a stop if you are cycling through.

Today, April 29th, 2025, I drank lungo and capucchino there, ate normal and wholemeal croissants, excellent! Sat under the blooming orange tree in front of the restaurant. Perfect!

06/07/2025: In my opinion there are no ice cream shops this good in the world!!! There is not a day that I pass by Polignano and stop to eat their fantastic ice cream
