I went to Covella Bar Pasticceria in Gioia del Colle for an aperitif with a friend, and I have to say it was excellent! The atmosphere is welcoming and the service impeccable. We'll definitely be back!

Stopped here half way through a 70km bike ride. There was a place out front to sit with our bikes. Inside there was a wonderful display of cakes and pastries. The server was really helpful. The coffee was good to. Well worth a stop if you are cycling through.

Today, April 29th, 2025, I drank lungo and capucchino there, ate normal and wholemeal croissants, excellent! Sat under the blooming orange tree in front of the restaurant. Perfect!

This morning I went to this pastry shop, the zeppole were really excellent, but being served by Antonella was the 🔝......a special person, kind and always with a smile, I have to return to this place 💯.

Antonella suggested I try the cannoli filled at the moment. The ricotta tasted delicious, enhanced with chocolate chips. It was a sublime experience tasting the cannoli. Thanks Antonella and congratulations on the good price of the cannoli. An unexpected delicacy.

13/07/2025: Great discovery! Fantastic, authentic food... Impeccable service, but the real asset of the place is Little/Big GIORGIA! AMAZING! Kudos to Mom and Dad for their good manners (a rare thing these days...like good food).
12/07/2025: Since we weren't familiar with the place, we trusted the owner, who welcomed us with great professionalism and kindness, giving us perfect advice. As he explained his story, we realized how much love he puts into his work. I highly recommend dining here when you're in the area.
