Excellent value for money... Refined yet substantial dishes

A must-see for any lover of fine Piedmontese cuisine. Nestled atop the Reggia di Venaria, this restaurant offers a sublime setting overlooking the royal gardens. Under the leadership of the brilliant Alfredo Russo, guests have the pleasure of tasting the great classics of Piedmont, revisited with a modern touch that enhances their authenticity—a unique experience where the refinement of the setting meets the inventiveness of the table.

My sister and I chose Dolce Stil Novo to celebrate our mother's birthday on June 25th. I had received excellent reviews from a couple of friends, as well as knowing the fame of the place, so I couldn't wait to try it. Expectations were even exceeded! First of all, it's a magical place, you take the elevator up to the fourth floor and an elegant terrace opens up with a view of the gardens of the Reggia di Venaria. We were welcomed and pampered right away by all the staff and chef Russo came to greet us and tell us something about the menu. There were 6 of us and we chose the surprise 7-course tasting menu with matching wines. We enjoyed delicious, balanced, exciting dishes! Finally, knowing it was a birthday, they prepared a cream and fruit cake especially for the birthday girl. We will definitely be back to try the à la carte menu. It was a wonderful experience!
