Divino In Castellabate

We had the steak (medium-rare), mixed salad, and French fries. The steak was fantastic. Unfortunately, there was no salt or pepper on the table to season the meat or salad. Highly recommended; we'll be back.

A very welcoming restaurant in the main square, with very friendly staff and excellent service. Delicious food made with fresh ingredients and home-made wine. Breathtaking views from inside.

We chose the location by chance. The first treat was being seated on a small balcony overlooking the landscape and the valley. The dishes were excellent, especially the ravioli, which left a lasting impression of the seafood, not to mention the superbly grilled fish. All this in a romantic setting, with the moon in the sky, complete with a star or planet next to it. A romantic evening, filled with good food. Highly recommended.

The exquisite quality of the ingredients used in the dishes and the ambiance of the location not only convey the unique gastronomic identity of Cilento: the sensory experience offered by DIVINO is rooted in a unique territory, not only in its culinary tradition but also in its culture of eating well, understood as good living. To savor its essence, we tried two seafood appetizers, marinated and cooked, and a meat platter of typical Cilento products. We then sampled two ravioli dishes, one in fish sauce and the other in lemon sauce, and the superb simplicity of a pasta e fagioli (pasta and beans) with mussels. We finished with two semifreddos, one with hazelnuts and the other with pistachios, and a chocolate dessert. Beyond the obvious assessment of qualitative excellence, I believe certain sensations must be experienced firsthand. Completing this certainly flattering assessment were the efficient service and the surprisingly quick response to orders. Divino is undoubtedly an authentic WELCOME TO THE SOUTH and a sure point of reference for those who truly want to know the essence of Mediterranean cuisine... The real one.

Great afternoon at Divino Ristorante. Service was excellent as was the food. We had wine, beer and appetizers. Our lunch was also great. In a quaint small piazza in the middle of an ancient town. Castalabatte is a historical village high above Santa Maria on theTyrrhenian Sea

We've been customers for many years, and this is our first time back since Luciano's departure (his daughter is now at the helm). The location is quaint and captivating, right in the historic center. Tables are in the piazza and inside, with a pleasant table setting. The staff, even when busy with serving full tables, are efficient (even without a reservation, they try to accommodate the customer). The food is served promptly. Good-quality products with a varied menu of land and sea dishes; the desserts and bread are good. We recommend asking the staff for clarification on the menu for any variations that may occur (e.g., fried food may vary, but squid may be available instead of calamari). In the scialatielli, Taggiasca olives and eggplant are mixed into the sauce, but it doesn't detract from the flavor of the dish. The linguina dell'isola is EXCELLENT for its taste and flavor, where the hint of lemon enhances the abundant clams on the plate (recommended). The weight has been improved compared to before. The revisited crocche' are also good. We changed our minds. RECOMMENDED The price follows the trend in the Cilento tourist sector.

A quality restaurant nestled in the heart of one of the most beautiful towns in Cilento, Castellabate. Local products and raw materials in general treated with respect and cooked to perfection. The raw fish was phenomenal, the fish was incredibly fresh. The first courses were also exceptional, such as the spaghetti with clams and lemon, an explosion of flavor. The ravioli alla Luciano were also delicious, a must. The scialatielli were excellent. I noticed the chef's skill, especially in cooking the freshly caught fish. In fact, we tried a grilled sea bream, which many people overcook, drying it out and making the meat too dry. Ours, however, was moist and perfectly tender. The house Fiano was good. The desserts were excellent. The staff were friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. The owner was very elegant, helpful, and attentive. In short, we had a truly wonderful time; we truly enjoyed the dinner and it was a good value. We will definitely be back.

Today, August 13, 2025, we stopped for dinner with my family and I personally am curious to try a first course, ravioli filled with ricotta mixed with citrus juice, a real delight, tot the service.
