Wonderful dinner on the terrace overlooking the Sassi di Matera. The setting alone was worth the price of the ticket. We opted for the contamination menu with wine tasting. The dishes followed one another, surprising us more and more each time with the quality of the execution and the creativity. I asked if possible to taste mainly local wines and I was satisfied by the very kind Maitre Francesco Russo. I was also surprised by an excellent local beer that did not look bad in the slightest compared to the wines. When they discovered through conversation that we were from Modena we were welcomed like old friends (all the staff being of the "Modena school" of the Osteria Francescana). We met and appreciated the two chefs Virginia Caravita and Michele Castelli. We entered a classy restaurant with a wonderful view and we left with the pleasant feeling of having discovered something unique with the scent of home. Recommended recommended recommended.

Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor, clearly prepared with the highest quality ingredients and great attention to detail. The visit here was worthwhile. We had the Dimora Ulmo tasting menu and were not disappointed. Since my partner didn't like the fish soup, we were able to easily swap it for a course from the "contamination" menu (changes can only be made for the entire table). The courses were beautifully presented and very good (only one course - the squid course - didn't taste that good to us). The specials from the kitchen, the first fish course and the pork cheeks, were particularly good. We went home not hungry and perfectly full. Thank you for the lovely evening with the beautiful ambiance on the terrace overlooking Matera and the Murgia.

A very special experience Here, stylish and magical elements merge for a romantic evening! First, you have to ring the bell to gain entry to the palazzo, where guests encounter a mix of modernity and history reminiscent of a James Bond scene. Before the highly recommended tasting menu with its perfectly matched wine pairing, we were invited to the terrace for a glass of champagne and Apulian canapés. This impressive view of Matera illuminated in the evening was magical. The waitress was excellently trained and attentive.

Increíble experiencia de cena y lo recomendaría encarecidamente! Mi esposa y yo tuvimos un menú degustación de 5 platos con maridaje de vinos y la comida y el servicio fue de los mejores que hemos disfrutado en cualquier parte del mundo. Francesco y Anna nos miraban muy bien. Francesco es uno de los propietarios y un sumiller y proporcionó información detallada sobre los vinos locales de Apulia y Basiliciata, así como recomendaciones para experiencias gastronómicas excelentes en otras ciudades de Apulia. El vino blanco y los dos tintos Aglianico eran excelentes! El restaurante se encuentra en el casco antiguo de Matera con una espectacular terraza y vistas. Para la buena comida Michelin, el precio era muy razonable y lo recomendaría encarecidamente.

Do it. Get the tasting menu. Its really fun. It wasnt the BEST tasting menu i’ve had but the presentation made up for it. The explanations of the dishes were exquisite but when I would taste them, they kinda tasted regular EXCEPT the scallop tartare. That was magnifique. Service is an 11/10, makes you feel like aristocracy. Its also cute inside and the attention to cuttlery is a nice touch.

Beautiful restaurant hidden in the heart of Matera. We celebrated a birthday by taking the contamination menu accompanied by wine pairing. The staff is very knowledgeable and the dishes delicious. A beautiful experience.
