Beautiful atmosphere in an enchanting location. Francesco is an exceptional host: kind, attentive and who makes hospitality a true art. The menu is made from top quality raw materials accompanied by refined labels that make the culinary journey a real experience. To say that we had a good time is really an understatement. I don't understand why people don't leave reviews when they feel good about a place. We were there during our visit to Matera, they were special, great professionals both in the dining room and in the kitchen, experience to spare and above all in such a particular city. The title could be pampering at will without ever being exaggerated. What class!!!

Stylish restaurant with very good food in a nice atmosphere. We had a good evening at Dimora Ulmo. We chose the “Contamination” menu including wine accompaniment. All courses except for one intermediate course tasted very good and were presented with a lot of effort. We only found the Pasticcio alla materana to be nothing special, both visually and in terms of taste. A little more spice and texture certainly wouldn't have hurt here. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed with the wine accompaniment. Given the 131-page wine list, we had high expectations of the accompaniment. Unfortunately, only wines from Basilicata were served. These were average (Sauvignon Blanc) to very good (Aglianico del vulture). Other wines on the wine list would certainly have gone better with some dishes. What also surprised us a bit was that the same wines were also served with the other menu at the next table. This gave the impression that the sommelier (if there was one?) hadn't put any thought into the pairing. I understand that local wines are important, but they should complement the respective dish positively. The waiter's service was very good. He tried very hard, was extremely friendly and accommodating. Big praise. The waitress, on the other hand, unfortunately seemed rather unmotivated. It was hard to get a smile out of her. Overall, a nice dinner and a good experience. Definitely recommended.

I had lunch inside in the winter, dinner on the terrace in the summer: both environments are well-kept, and the atmosphere in the summer is magical. Excellent service, we had a great meal. A place where we will return and which I recommend.
