We went to this restaurant despite the mixed reviews we'd read, negative about the quality of the fish and the waitress's attitude, which was considered rude. In our opinion, however, we found the fish to be good, the mixed antipasti were good (the fried food was better than the octopus salad, which was otherwise fine), the mussel sauté was slightly salty (it happens), the spaghetti with clams and the scampi risotto were satisfying, and the grilled fish was also good. The portions were generous and in line with the price. So, value for money was definitely acceptable. We found the waitress's attitude to be practical rather than rude; in fact, she was sometimes even funny. It was a pleasant experience.

Sensational value for money with the 4-7 standard fish dishes (approx. €30-40 including wine and water). I've been coming here for 30 years and always enjoy it when I'm in Rome. Easily reachable on foot from the train station in 20 minutes.

I recently visited Franco ar Vicoletto in Rome, and unfortunately, my experience wasn't entirely satisfactory. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was friendly enough (the lady who greeted us could have smiled a little more!) but there were a few things that left something to be desired. The dishes I ordered were well-presented, but the flavor didn't meet my expectations, especially the spaghetti with clams, which was salty. Furthermore, the prices were a bit high for the quality of the food. I expected more, considering the restaurant's reputation. In summary, this restaurant has potential, but there's definitely room for improvement. I hope they can make some changes, because the location is fantastic and the atmosphere is pleasant. Maybe I'll give it another try in the future!

I went with my closest friends to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful. The food—we had fish—was delicious.

Franco is exceptional, on Sundays it is very crowded....
