Nice, modern place with table service. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast with delicious cappuccino and croissants. The only downside is that by 10 a.m. there was little choice of croissants, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

A one-of-a-kind pastry shop. I've been using it since January 2022 and have grown fond of it. We always stop by Der Gourner for breakfast and snacks, as well as for the many activities they organize for adults and children. Traditional products and friendly staff, they know how to please everyone who comes in (even vegan options, like in my case). Pietro, Martina, and Lorenzo are the best. Highly recommend!

Breakfast at Der Gourner is a great reason to get out of bed, even on a gloomy day, which, as we all know, can happen in the mountains! Flaky and buttery croissants, amazing cream-filled doughnuts, and delicious savory treats... Among the takeaway desserts, the delicious Valsesian pastiera, a fresh and winning concept celebrating the region, and the charming single-serving desserts that are a feast for the eyes. And then there are the rich aperitifs... Among the many reasons to visit the fairytale Alagna Valsesia, don't hesitate to include a stop at this young, creative, and refined pastry shop!

I've been following the pastry shop on Instagram for some time, and after visiting Alagna, I made it a regular stop.
The staff is incredibly kind and the products are delicious. We had delicious pizza for lunch and finished with some truly delicious pastries.
The next day, breakfast. Everything was excellent.
It's a shame they don't have a branch in Turin. 😭 Highly recommended!
