Dea Del Mare In Pisa

We had lunch in this simple place with a more refined exterior and interior. Very friendly staff and good dishes. I saw some tartares and pasta passing by which were not only plentiful but also very inviting. My fry was good although a little oily, my partner's cutlet was a nice portion of a common cutlet.

Restaurant located in the central square of Tirrenia, existing for many years and if I'm not mistaken, modernized a few years ago. It has a single internal room that can accommodate approximately 60 seats, and a very large outdoor space with sun umbrellas, which can accommodate approximately another 80 seats. In summer the places are also very crowded with tourists and it is preferable to book so as not to have to wait or have to go to other restaurants or pizzerias nearby. The place is very nice and well kept, both internally and externally: the staff is kind, polite and helpful. The menu is quite varied both at restaurant level and in terms of the availability of choice of pizzas: the foods are good and well prepared, they present themselves very well to the eye and are also good and inviting. It's just a shame that the service is a little slow, even though we've been there a couple of times and in both cases we had to wait a long time: especially last Sunday, which was a beautiful day at the seaside with clear skies and fresh February air, but the inside room wasn't full and there were only 4 occupied tables outside. For the rest, we also recommend it in terms of quality and price!!

Pizza for dinner. Renovated, clean place. Courteous and friendly staff. We ordered 2 pizzas, water and beer. Speedy service. Rating 4 because if the pizza base was well made (not fried, not burnt, low) I must say that I would have expected mozzarella instead of the "cheese" with which it was packaged. I will return and if I see real mozzarella on the pizza I will give it a well-deserved 5 star rating.

Was very hungry having not eaten all day. I just wanted a pizza though. Many restaurants were shut but this one was open. Staff at front of house were very nice and friendly considering I don't speak Italian the made an effort for me which was nice. Restaurant was clean and food was great. I would like to go back and try the rest of the menu

We went for dinner while passing through the All Saints' Day holiday, the appetizer was just a taste of the marinated and well presented anchovies, soft and greasy fried seafood, decent linguine with clams, good crunchy pizza and thin slices. The bill considering that of the 3 covers one was a pizza and only one had a starter and a first course, bitters for 83.50 euros could have been offered to us!
