Excellent food, impeccable service, the place is very nice, the distance between one table and another is appreciable and the presence of round tables which encourage conviviality. Fair price for the menu offering.

Aperto il 5 maggio 2018 dove prima c'era il ristorante "Arsenico e vecchi merletti". Davanti il dehors, fruibile nella bella stagione, con 16 coperti, 35 nella sala. Chef Vincenzo Coccellato; in sala Davide, tutte le posate sostituite a ogni portata. Piacevole musica soft in sottofondo; il pranzo: Vino: - Metodo Classico Alta Langa DOCG Millesimato Pas Dosé az. Contratto. Pane bianco; pane ai cereali e grissini tutto maison. Antipasti: - carciofo in olio cottura, fonduta e uovo poche. - degustazione di erborinati. Primi: - rabaton alessandrini. - cannelloni gratinati al forno. Dessert: - savarin di mele. - semifreddo alla nocciola. Caffè a chiudere. La carta dei vini presenta 44 etichette. Non è previsto il menù degustazione; à la carte 7 antipasti da 10 a 14€, "antipasto misto monferrino" a 16€; 8 primi da 12 a 14€; 8 secondi da 16 a 18€; 2 selezioni di formaggi a 14€; 4 dessert elencati a voce a 6€. Durante una visita serale ad Acqui scopriamo questo ristorante durante la passeggiata. Nel menù esposto esternamente mi colpiscono alcuni piatti base della tradizione Umbro-Norcina. Scoprirò poi che lo chef è di tali origini. Pietanze della tradizione (bagna cauda) e no solo (tonnarelli alla norcina), lista vini misurata ma di qualità, servizio informale ma cortese e preciso. Prezzi incredibilmente moderati. Racomandatissimo !!!

The quality of the food reigns supreme, bagna cauda exceptional. Exceptional dishes of the day (chickpea soup with pork rinds and ribs, polenta with donkey stew and sausage). The first (pasta with leeks and bacon) was perfectly cooked, delicate and balanced despite the demanding ingredients. Quality of the raw materials and cooking are impeccable. The restaurant is welcoming and well furnished, a quiet but not boring environment. We will definitely be back recommending it to anyone who asks. Honorable mention to the waiters, friendly and helpful, but practically imperceptible during service, exactly as they should be. Compliments.
