A weekend with many friends, beautiful Matera... we then found ourselves in this restaurant, what can I say... everyone was very welcoming and always with a smile... the dinner was excellent, the quality of the raw materials was exceptional, dishes were refined and innovative, but with a pinch of tradition... a nice discovery for all of us... thank you for your welcome.

Since we were visiting Materia, we asked some locals where we could dine to taste local dishes Our expectations were not disappointed. All exquisite, excellent workmanship with selected foods. If I find myself in the area again I would return. Really courteous staff. Ps. I wouldn't have minded if the pasta serving had been a little more generous...

Tornato in questo locale vista la positiva esperienza della prima volta. Allora ho assaggiato un secondo di carne cucinata alla brace. Questa volta ho voluto assaggiare un primo cucinato in padella! Paccheri con fonduta di caciocavallo, peperoni cruschi e granella di pistacchi. Semplicemente strepitoso. Ottime anche le bruschette con il pane di Matera e lo sporcamuso finale. Veramente ottimo anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo per questo locale semplice e carino alle porte del centro storico e dei Sassi di Matera.

Pedí una sopa de legumbres, 10 euros, para mi almuerzo. Fue excelente. Aunque era un caldo, el líquido estaba cargado de sabor. El pan y las tostadas que vienen con la sopa también estaban buenos. De hecho voy a volver a cenar.

10/01/2025: In September, we discovered this spot with seating in the square. We ordered an Aperol Spritz, lasagna, and a red berry salad and were pleasantly surprised. The lasagna was especially enjoyable. A great choice for people-watching while enjoying a bite and some drinks.
05/01/2025: Nothing to say about the food and the very nice place, but guys fix the service because it was really unnerving, I usually never complain about the wait when the quality is high, but today it exceeded the limit, my girlfriend wanted to get up and leave ! It's a shame because it was all so good. Come on, you're smart ✌🏼

04/02/2025: I've been going there for years now and I have to say that I've always found really kind and courteous guys. Excellent service. You haven't even entered the bar and the curly lady is already making you find the coffee ready at the counter. The tobacconist is always well stocked. I'm sorry I couldn't try the cuisine again, but if I had the chance I would definitely come here! Advised!
04/01/2025: A very good place for breakfast, very well priced and everything very delicious. The cake and the puff pastry are very delicious. Very friendly waiters.
