Short stay in Matera, a very suggestive city! Not to mention the Lucanian cuisine, this place is excellent, the staff is kind and helpful. They also had a special eye for my dog. I highly recommend it 😘

Cena con la mia famiglia. Titolare e personale (una ragazza) molto cortesi e professionali. Abbiamo mangiato un piatto di orecchiette cime di rapa, pane fritto, peperone crusco e acciuga ~ un piatto di polpette al sugo (6 polpette) - tagliata rucola e parmigiano - patate fritte - salsiccia del pezzente ~ una coca cola e una bottiglia d’acqua - una porzione di tiramisù - un dolce tipico (tetta della monaca al cioccolato…. mi sembra si chiami così 🤦🏻♂️), il tutto per la modica cifra di €78,50. Consiglio questo locale che si trova proprio a ridosso dei “sassi”.

We stopped on the fly, with 3 screaming children. Very hospitable and friendly. Small and well-kept place. Professional and kind staff. Very good food. Really pleasantly surprised. I would go back immediately

Very cozy restaurant in Matera.
Delicious food and reasonable price.
The attention and service has been perfect.
We ordered a pasta dish and roast lamb, all delicious.

A weekend with many friends, beautiful Matera... we then found ourselves in this restaurant, what can I say... everyone was very welcoming and always with a smile... the dinner was excellent, the quality of the raw materials was exceptional, dishes were refined and innovative, but with a pinch of tradition... a nice discovery for all of us... thank you for your welcome.

Since we were visiting Materia, we asked some locals where we could dine to taste local dishes
Our expectations were not disappointed.
All exquisite, excellent workmanship with selected foods.
If I find myself in the area again I would return.
Really courteous staff.
Ps. I wouldn't have minded if the pasta serving had been a little more generous...

Tornato in questo locale vista la positiva esperienza della prima volta. Allora ho assaggiato un secondo di carne cucinata alla brace. Questa volta ho voluto assaggiare un primo cucinato in padella! Paccheri con fonduta di caciocavallo, peperoni cruschi e granella di pistacchi. Semplicemente strepitoso. Ottime anche le bruschette con il pane di Matera e lo sporcamuso finale. Veramente ottimo anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo per questo locale semplice e carino alle porte del centro storico e dei Sassi di Matera.
