A central restaurant, very kind the owner and the girl who takes care of the table service. Good food, well cooked and quality. Cleanliness attention to the customer and also very attentive to our dog by immediately getting water for her. Highly recommended. Compliments we will definitely return when we are again in Matera. We happened upon this restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised. Our food was really good. We had fries (presumably homemade), which were very good and fresh. The ciccoria with bread, frisella, and burratina were very tasty and fresh. We also enjoyed the pepperoni cruschi as a side dish.
Friendly staff. One star deducted only because of the noise level. There was a large group next to us that was very loud. But we would come again; it's a restaurant that offers good quality.

Typical Lucanian cuisine exquisite, with some variations expertly prepared by the chef. The management is run by two brothers, one in the dining room and the other in the kitchen (the chef), very friendly and helpful, who make you feel at home. Abundant dishes and affordable prices without compromising the quality of the ingredients!
Absolutely not to be missed if you are in Matera.

Cena con la mia famiglia. Titolare e personale (una ragazza) molto cortesi e professionali. Abbiamo mangiato un piatto di orecchiette cime di rapa, pane fritto, peperone crusco e acciuga ~ un piatto di polpette al sugo (6 polpette) - tagliata rucola e parmigiano - patate fritte - salsiccia del pezzente ~ una coca cola e una bottiglia d’acqua - una porzione di tiramisù - un dolce tipico (tetta della monaca al cioccolato…. mi sembra si chiami così 🤦🏻♂️), il tutto per la modica cifra di €78,50. Consiglio questo locale che si trova proprio a ridosso dei “sassi”.
