The restaurant is a gem, very intimate and small, with outdoor seating available in the summer. The food at Il Conte is excellent, and the service is extremely friendly. It's recommended for a romantic dinner. It's been open in Roccastrada for over 10 years now, and if you've never been, it's definitely worth a try.

I found the place small but welcoming, almost intimate, I'd say. It's called "picio matto" for a reason. The first courses were truly excellent, with both quantity and quality being top notch. For the second course, the Florentine steak was mouth-watering, beautifully cut. The owner was unique: friendly, helpful, and welcoming. A must-try if you want to eat well. Try the pici with garlic (recommended).

Warm and comfortable atmosphere, a friendly yet courteous welcome, and excellent food made with quality ingredients. The only thing I would have preferred was the prices on the menu. In any case, anyone passing through Roccastrada is worth a stop, and anyone who doesn't happen to be passing through should. We'll be back.

Very welcoming restaurant with very friendly staff. The food was delicious! Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the famous Florentine steak, but we agreed with the owner that we'll come back to try it. Highly recommended!

It's a real shame, because the food is delicious, but it was a terrible experience with the service. The POS machine isn't working "due to a connection problem," and it's inaudible, especially with a sign praising the use of cash. They even send us to withdraw money, annoyed. I'm sorry, but they've lost customers.

18/05/2026: We spent a night in our campervan behind the trattoria. Quiet, beautiful, and secluded – simply wonderful. The food was superb. The sage in the pastry was truly delicious, along with the garlic bruschetta. The homemade pasta with spinach and cheese as a first course was exceptional. The fried chicken and salad were perfect for the second course. The service was friendly and professional, with excellent English. We'd love to come back. Southern Tuscany is our favorite.
11/05/2026: A wonderful discovery. A true, authentic trattoria, just like it used to be. Excellent food, excellent preparation. Wonderful place. Sincere. See you next time!

Ristorante Bacco & Cerere 2.0

25/06/2026: Two years ago, this restaurant had pleasantly surprised me, and while passing through Saturnia, I decided to try it again. The first sign that something had changed came on the stairs: four tasting menus, nothing à la carte. I was the only one dining on Saturday night; two other couples arrived shortly afterward, but they didn't appreciate the offerings. Having not thought of a plan B, I decided to take a risk and chose the fine meats menu. Everything was good, but I would never have chosen the pigeon, which unfortunately wasn't substitutable. The pappardelle with ragù was very good, but the tiramisu (also mandatory) was less so, as it was too greasy. So, I ate quite well, not what I wanted, but I'm not sure if the tasting menu will be a winning choice. Perhaps the change in offerings should have been highlighted on the website.
04/04/2026: Excellent location, rather homey from the outside, but inside it reveals a luxurious and romantic setting. Typical Tuscan cuisine, excellent pappardelle with wild boar and sausage. Very professional and fast table service.
