Family place. Yummy caprese. Yummy bolognese. Wish the portion was a little bigger for the cost. No frills dining but make sure you book way ahead. I was very lucky to be allowed to dine solo without a reservation

Beautiful location, Piazza del Popolo. Good food, friendly service. The desserts aren't bad either! I will definitely be back!

We made last minute reservation, and make sure you do have one. First to seat. Our server was attentive. Food was really good! As you know Rome’s Resturant only have 4-5 pastas in their menus & Bolognese is not a staple item on most menus, thus going here. It was one the best Bolognese dishes I had in Italy (and wanted to go back the 2nd night but couldn’t walk anymore!) The dish had a balance of spices, meat and sauce and the pasta was cooked to perfection . The breaded veal was good and we had an appetizer of fried sardines. The tiramisu was ok, I make much better. Highly recommend it and go for Bolognese or Lasagna! Forgot! Do order just a plain salad! The fee is minimal however just the lettuce and few strands of carrots in Italy with the olive oil and a bit of vinegar tastes Devine!

amazing authentic italian restaurant! I personally arrived later than my friends, and even though they were ready to start with the main dish, it wasnt allowed to eat before me finishing my starter (as i was late i ordered when they already were finished with the first dish). I really didn’t like that because i felt rushed eating my meal in order to have food for the others. Also ordering a started and a main dish is a must. it is not allowed to have only one of them.

The food here was so good that we came back again, despite the vast choice of other restaurants in the area. Even though it's located next to the Piazza del Popolo, this restaurant was certainly not a tourist trap - it was full of well-dressed locals. It's certainly not cheap, but the quality justifies the prices. The service was outstanding, and the food was amazing, bringing even regular Italian staples to a higher plane - for example, "the best lasagna ever" according to my son!

04/01/2025: Finally made it to a mom n pop place in rome! Recommend the handmade tortellini soup. Service is great, very fair pricing. So much better than most options in the central part of the city that cater to tourist. Come here and try a real authentic italian joint ❤️

19/12/2024: Una certezza nel mutevole panorama romano. I pilastri del menu: le paste - ripiene e no - rigorosamente fatte a mano, in vetrina, il brodo, i bolliti, il particolarissimo giambonetto, i dolci fatti in casa. Con tutte le variazioni stagionali del caso. Fantastico
