Ad Abano per un weekend alle terme, non avevamo voglia di cenare in hotel. Abbiamo cercato sul web un posto poco lontano dall'hotel. La scelta del locale ha avuto due motivazioni: 1) Il nome simpaticissimo! 2) Le immagini dei piatti proposti. Davvero invitanti. Abbiamo prenotato, per le 2130. Il locale era strapieno e ci ha accolto in modo burberoscherzoso Sebastiano, il proprietario. Il locale non ha menù, ma la cosa non si è rivelata un problema. Sebastiano ci ha consigliato e proposto, anche per regolarci sulle quantità. E lo ha fatto per il meglio: 2 bis di primi, stra-abbondanti e ottimi e un secondo in due. Una tagliata fantastica, praticamente burro, con un contorno di patatine fritte. Abbiamo optato per mezzo di rosso fermo, più che accettabile. Nonostante pieni, non abbiamo resistito ad un assaggio di dolci, anche quelli...significativi... Un'altra cosa che abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato del locale è che è dotato di pannelli fonoassorbenti appesi al soffitto. Cosa abbastanza rara nei locali, ma utilissima. Prezzo assolutamente ragionevole, in generale e anche rapportato alla qualità e quantità di quanto proposto. Caro Sebastiano, ci toccherà davvero tornare...e la prossima volta non per caso...

Questo locale è stato per me una piacevole scoperta, l'ambiente e il personale amichevole ma non invadente dei piatti poi, una carbonara veramente buona come da tempo non mangiavo e la specialità, la tagliata spettacolare. Il locale era molto affollato ma pur senza aver prenotato ci hanno trovato un tavolo. Ci torneremo sicuramente perchè ne vale la pena.
