The meat is of excellent quality but does not justify the prices, ditto the excellent live menu but very expensive. I think you can't spend 280 euros for 2 kg of meat, I find it out of place. You can't eat meat that costs so much on paper placemats and with tables attached to each other. I don't think I will come back again. They also put a cut on our bill that we had cancelled.

Excellent meat, excellent service, good choice of wines.

Superlative experience finding yourself inside this refined and elegant restaurant and at the same time finding a wonderful butcher and delicatessen inside, not to mention the open kitchen with a splendid grill! Excellent dishes and really high quality. Absolutely worth trying

Restaurante with exceptional culinary refinement. There is little choice of starters, first or second courses but of quality. There is a lot of choice of wines. Finish with a tasty dessert and/or coffee. Possibility of purchase, to take away, directly at the butcher's or delicatessen.

Friendly welcome and buzzy atmosphere. I chose the mushroom pasta followed by the steak tagliata. Better than usual wines by the glass. Overall reasonable value. And friendlier than some of the local alternatives (eg Trattatoria Linguaglossa and VinEtna, which weren’t terribly welcoming).

Excellent food, fresh meat and very attentive service! The first one was really delicious but in my opinion a little expensive.

Posto consigliato dalla proprietaria del B&B dove alloggiavamo siamo rimasti subito conquistati dal banco macelleria all'entrata. Personale gentile e attento. Cibo delizioso, consiglio la pasta con ragù bianco e tartufo che nonostante sia molto caro è davvero molto buono. Vale 20€ un piatto di pasta? Non so... però davvero buono! La carne nemmeno a dirlo, Superlativa!!!

Bad experience, I went to the butcher's shop and explicitly asked for Messina chicken rolls, whoever served me gave me chicken nuggets that had nothing to do with what was requested even if they were aesthetically similar. I felt cheated, even though the recipe is not strictly local, the butcher's shop had some Messina-style beef rolls on display, so they could easily have told me that they weren't available with chicken, rather than foist one thing on me for another (among 'another excessive price for simple breaded chicken, absolutely simpler processing than the Messina-style roulade, certainly not 16 euros per kilo). Incorrect and superficial attitude, I don't think it was a misunderstanding given that when I was served there was no confusion and the only customer was me.

Perfect service. We were in a hurry so just ordered burgers and they were fast, tasty and full of fries. Recommended

Tasting expensive meat compared to the less "sensible" cuts of meat that we tasted, in my case not well matured and also difficult to cut and chew... not exactly what you expect from a "renowned" butcher's shop! I hope it was an unhappy evening, I've been before and all in all I have better memories! All in all the rest was good, the choice of wines especially Etna was good (but if you choose something more peculiar this will come from elsewhere...) but with prices that are now out of fashion, in my opinion! The DIY cutting boards at the counter prepared by a kind lady are very good and at the right price! The paper "tablecloths" and the Trattoria-style menu with sheets written on the PC in 90s style protected by a plastic film are not up to par! It may be a detail but it's unpleasant in my opinion, especially if they ask you €70/80 for a bottle that costs 25/30 in a wine shop! I like the place and will certainly return, but remedying what I personally consider to be some "lapses in style" would make the experience more pleasant! Good atmosphere and service
