Dai Borboni In Torino

It was a real find. We went almost by chance for the first time and liked it so much that we've been back, which says it all. The food is excellent, with authentic flavors and beautifully presented dishes. What's more, the atmosphere is pleasant and the service is friendly; even though we didn't speak the language, the staff went out of their way to understand us and make us feel comfortable. Without a doubt, a restaurant to remember and return to.

I would have given the ambience a higher rating, but there was a distinct smell of food in the dining room that wasn't particularly pleasant during our stay. It felt as if the kitchen exhaust fans weren't on.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Risto Pizzeria Dai Borboni – Turin Located just steps from Piazza Castello, in one of Turin's central streets: a truly convenient and pleasant location. The pizza is very good, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The service is friendly, although it could be better organized during busy periods. Overall, a good experience: recommended pizza and an excellent location for a casual dinner in the city center.

We stumbled upon it by chance, intrigued by the banner on the street, "Contrada dei Guardinfanti," and it was love at first sight. The restaurant's name says it all, and my two friends and I introduced ourselves as "Bourbons." Through laughter and chatter, we met Marianna and her two brothers who run this welcoming restaurant, rediscovering our shared roots. The menu offers a choice of a few dishes (four for each course), but they're surprising: Neapolitan tradition married with Piedmontese (for example, the excellent braised beef in Aglianico) or revisited (linguine with truffle and raw shrimp, cannoli filled with ricotta and mascarpone). There's a wide selection of wines, but I stuck with the superb Aglianico from Le Janare. We returned three nights and were never disappointed. Last but not least.... Don't forget the pizza, which I highly recommend (and the tiramisu too!!!)
