We arrived in Messina, late afternoon.
We took a walk around the centre; behind the cathedral, we saw a very nice place at the four fountains: Da zia Katia.
Anna, the daughter, welcomed us. Clean place and family cuisine.
He recommended spaghetti with mussels and clams. Honestly the best we have eaten.
Too bad it's closed tomorrow, we would have had dinner with them again.
I highly recommend it.

Very nice place, with an air-conditioned internal room, simple but genuine and espresso food, the only drawback is the olive oil in single portions, but still supplied without limits, to make a delicious slipper with the delicious freshly baked pizza bread

There were 3 of us and we chose the starter and the first course. The cured meats are good and the pasta is salty but good. I wasn't impressed so I wouldn't go there again.

Brocheta tremenda y servicio muy simpático y atento. Disfrutamos de una brocheta (creo que frita) con un sabor y textura original. Además, la pizza de mortadela y pistacho está espectacular.

The location is very nice, located a stone's throw from the Cathedral of Messina, it has internal and external tables where you can try different dishes, I tasted the skewers of beef chops, a typical Messina dish, served on an eye-catching structure, very good, accompanied with green salad and fried potatoes, in my opinion a little small. I also tasted the pizza and I must say that it wasn't bad, the oven is electric, not wood-fired. The price/quality ratio is a little high.

The more I frequent this place, the more I appreciate it! The food is excellent, it feels like eating at your mother's. Everything tastes genuine and homemade. The staff were kind, attentive and friendly. Prices are normal. Fully satisfied. I'll definitely be back... As always!

La cucina di zia Katia ormai la conosciamo e sappiamo della sua bontà ma quello che non conoscevamo era il giro braciole, ogni giovedì puoi mangiare tutte le braciolettine che vuoi, di tutti i tipi, accompagnate da ottime patatine, e del buon pan pizza vino ed acqua inclusi, pagando 20€ a persona, ci siamo divertiti una serata abbiamo mangiato tanto, tutti i tipi di braciolettine e siamo stati bene e coccolati dal personale e dalla grande zia Katia, alla quale va il nostro apprezzamento ed il nostro ringraziamento, ritorneremo quanto prima.
