Good, affordable arrosticini appetizers of decent quality

Simple, just cold cuts and arrosticini. Recommended place for traditionalists.

Vittorio is a guarantee! He personally oversees the ingredients, which are strictly local, without frills and without giving a nod to standard, globalized foods (chips, appetizers that taste the same everywhere). His menu has always been the same and is of excellent quality, from the giardiniera and tomatoes to the arrosticini. It always remains that way.

The GPS is very accurate, so it's easy to find, but the route to Ristorante da Vittorio isn't the easiest. The restaurant isn't located in a particularly convenient area, and although it has two parking areas, space isn't guaranteed, so you'll have to leave your car in the open countryside or on the (narrow) side of the road. However, once you're inside and seated, the food makes up for it and makes you forget everything else. The menu is simple and unfussy. Those who go to Vittorio know they go for the arrosticini, and the quality is truly excellent. They're the classic size, so those who enjoy indulgence can easily overdo it! The menu also features platters of cured meats and cheeses, and especially locally sourced vegetables, prepared according to Abruzzo tradition. The night I went, with a reservation, the restaurant, despite being very large, was packed, so the wait for a table, even though the waiters were always kind, fast, and helpful, was very long. To pass the time, we were brought back bread and olive oil several times, a typical accompaniment... but it was a shame it was just a side dish. That doesn't mean it's not worth going for dinner, on the contrary, but if you're in a hurry, I wouldn't recommend it. The atmosphere is friendly, and the evening passes pleasantly. Competitive prices, especially since you'd never expect a nice plate of olives, both green and black, to still cost 0.90 cents!!! Recommended for small and large groups.

This trattoria is located in Montesilvano Colle, not very easy to find parking. The atmosphere is simple and unpretentious, and the menu includes appetizers, arrosticini, and desserts. The food is good and reasonably priced. If you like arrosticini, this place is recommended.

Visited with family. Menu pretty much revolves around arrosticini. We had a simple started of cheese and prosciutto and some tomatoes. Tomatoes were simply amazing, rich and sweet. The arrosticini should be their signature dish, they were quite underwhelming and I definitely had much better elsewhere. The check was in line with the type of restaurant. Shout out to the staff members who were all very polite and friendly. Would recommend? Not really as there are in my opinion better areosticini around, but not a bad experience either. Just quite average.

Vintage restaurant. If you want small arrosticini at a good price, this is the place to go. Don't expect too much from the appetizers. The staff is kind and attentive.

A historic restaurant in Montesilvano. Almost like a local trattoria. A small menu, but everything is truly delicious. Authentic arrosticini, excellent cured meats and cheeses, and locally sourced ingredients. Highly recommended for simple, authentic Abruzzese fare.

Ci è stato consigliato da una signora del posto e aveva pienamente ragione!! Abbiamo preso tre antipasti misti dove c’era del formaggio, salame, prosciutto e olive (in realtà ogni porzione ha una fetta di tutto e visto il prezzo sembra un po’ poco), successivamente gli arrosticini che non si battono, semplicemente eccezionali e chi scrive diversamente non ci è mai stato. Morbidi, saporiti e con un gusto mai assaporato prima. Poi di dolce un sorbetto al limone (in un bicchiere estremamente piccolo), un tortino al cioccolato e due tiramisù. Con acqua e coca cola al vetro abbiamo speso 113 Euro. Considerate che gli arrosticini costano 0,90 Euro ciascuno e noi ne abbiamo presi 60 perché si mangiano che è un piacere…

Locale “vecchio stile” , pochissima scelta ma del resto lì si va per gli arrosticini; gli antipasti erano molto buoni e abbondanti,gli arrosticini li ho trovati nella norma,dalle tante lodi mi aspettavo onestamente meglio,comunque il giudizio è positivo,il conto è stato tutto sommato onesto,forse il locale ora vive un po’ di rendita sui fasti del passato.
