Fish fit for a king, but keep it simple! When I go to Follonica, I always look for simple places where you can eat fish properly. This is one of those trattorias, without too many frills, with old-fashioned decor and a genuine atmosphere. I have to be honest: when it comes to fresh fish, they have few rivals. I had an octopus appetizer that melted in your mouth and a textbook grill, the kind that tastes of the sea. A friend who was with me, however, fared worse with a rice entree: it was overcooked, it seemed reheated, something you don't expect in a place like this. The atmosphere is lively, quite noisy and constantly coming and going, but that's the beauty of real trattorias. The staff is friendly, perhaps a little chaotic when it's busy, but always friendly. My advice: go there for the fresh fish, grilled or fried, and you won't go wrong. The price is fair.

Fantastic.....it's part of my life now...I've been here at least once a year for 45 years....I drove 250 km last Saturday to eat the best lobster spaghetti on the planet...

First evening in Follonica. The food was excellent. The fried food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and the outdoor seating was lovely. We were almost the last ones there, and we even had a pleasant conversation with the owner. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

We asked a local friend if he knew of a good seafood restaurant, and he took us to the best one. We've never had such good seafood. Highly recommended. A friend of mine is also celiac, and they found suitable dishes with no problem. I didn't ask the waitress her name, but she was a super friendly and helpful blonde woman who made everyone happy. I recommend booking in advance, as it's very popular, and I recommend walking there, as it's a central location and parking is difficult.

I stayed in Follonica for a week, but I should have discovered this place sooner... We showed up without a reservation, but they still managed to seat us; the place isn't big. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, making us feel at ease. We tried several dishes, and I have to be honest, we weren't disappointed. Excellent quality, fast service, and reasonable prices for what's on offer. I recommend it to anyone who wants seafood without too many frills.

Un'ottima trattoria di pesce. Una menzione d'onore per il Polpo lesso ma anche gli altri piatti erano ottimi specialmente la frittura in padella. Locale storico di Follonica e lo si capisce facilmente anche dall'arredamento antico della sala storica. Personale gentile e accogliente, molto premuroso con i clienti. Esperienza da ripetere assolutamente.
