Typical Venetian restaurant, very good food from starter to dessert, welcoming staff, highly recommended.

Discovered by chance. A pleasant surprise. Prices slightly above average. But worth it. Very kind staff who also guided us to the best selection of dishes. Castradina is superb! Well done, very kind! Just steps from San Marco.

We came here for lunch on a weekday, choosing this spot because it offers seating along a canal. The staff was helpful and friendly and we got a nice seat right along the canal. Their menu is filled with appealing local eats, many including seafood. They have an interesting carafe menu for their wine, you can get wine by the glass, or in various milliliter amounts up to a liter, so we chose a liter of chardonnay. That wine was amazing, and only 17eu! We started by splitting their salad and that salad was beautiful and tasty! Made with fresh ingredients, it was excellent when dressed with simply EVOO and balsamic! Our entrées were also excellent. I loved their pesto in the Maltagliati Scampi e Pesto! The shrimp in it offered a nice flavor too! The Tagliatelle ai Funghi Porcini was a huge hit as well, especially with is being porcini season! Definitely would recommend stopping in, but make a reservation, they seem to get busy quickly!

Central location, just a few minutes from the port, very busy at dinner but with very fast service, recommended menu based on fresh fish of excellent quality

We had already been here on our honeymoon 34 years ago! A wonderful experience by a canal, not far from St. Mark's Square. Attentive and friendly service. Quality dishes. Excellent wine list. An unforgettable moment. Thank you.

A purely touristy place, with decent food and an excellent location. I tried the cut of meat, which was acceptable but nothing more, and the desserts were assembly-line-style. I wouldn't go back, but they won't miss me because the tourists fall for it.

We had a wonderful evening on the terrace for our first wedding anniversary. Delicious meal, great service. I recommend it! It was a very romantic moment.

¡Qué decepción! Este restaurante fue altamente recomendado pero la comida era promedio en el mejor de los casos. Todo empezó con el pan que sirvieron, era horrible. Debía tener un día y no venía acompañado de nada, así que pedimos aceite. Dos de nuestras comidas estaban poco condimentadas y tenían muy poco sabor. Los otros dos pedidos fueron buenos. Escuché a un camarero decirle a una pareja que estaba esperando que ya no tenían mesas disponibles y se fueron; y luego, unos 5 minutos después, vinieron dos parejas mayores y preguntaron si podían acomodarlos sin reservas y dijeron que no había problema. Muy extraño. Para mí, el maître parece desinteresado con los clientes. El único momento realmente destacado fue sentarse al aire libre, junto al canal, y ver pasar a los gondoleros. No puedo recomendar este restaurante especialmente por este precio.

Servizio ineccepibile. Locale storico lungo un piccolo canale. Riservato. Cibo ottimo, proprio veneziano. Buona la lista vini.
