We had lunch today, October 20, 2025, and everything was excellent. The appetizers and first courses were plentiful....and I'm full. 🤗

I was in this restaurant yesterday, Sunday, October 12th, for lunch with a friend, tempted by the location and the reviews. I give it 3 stars because the staff was friendly, kind, and helpful, but the food wasn't up to par. We had a seafood appetizer, all very good, fresh fish, rich, nothing to complain about, and a seafood grill that disappointed us. The prawns, the fish (I don't know what fish it was, but I think it was something like sea bream, white sea bream, or similar), were good. Another fish (I don't know what it was, maybe tuna) was edible. The swordfish wasn't up to par, it was stringy, inedible. We ate it because it seemed a shame to leave it given the price. I was very disappointed with the swordfish because I heard the owner telling some customers that it was the last few weeks that you could eat fresh swordfish because after that, I think you can't fish anymore. The sorbet was good, although the price was exaggerated in my opinion. The bill for what we ate was exaggerated. I wouldn't recommend it as a restaurant.

On our way back from Sicily, curious to see the town of Scilla, we stopped for lunch at Pippo's; a welcoming place with a traditional, friendly, and helpful owner. We ordered a swordfish platter and "fileja," a typical Calabrian seafood fusilli. Excellent quality, generous portions, and we enjoyed it at a seafront table with a breathtaking view! Prices were absolutely in line, almost below average, with the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back...excellent!

Simply fantastic. Located at the end of the beach. Warm and uncomplicated. The food is amazing and fresh. The restaurant is highly recommended. We ate like kings. Thank you, a lovely family. We'll be back tomorrow before we leave. Iris and René

We decided to have lunch at this restaurant on the Scilla seafront. Excellent value, generous portions, and excellent ingredients. The owner was truly kind, as if she were welcoming you directly into her own home!

Fantastic first course, full of seafood, in a slow, typically Italian atmosphere. Scilla is fantastic. Eating here was a real pleasure.

Quick dinner without a reservation!! They found us a table outside. The first courses were delicious, and the lady was incredibly kind! Well done!
