Excellent fish cuisine and tasty pizzas

For me a point of reference. We have always been going to "Corrado ex Pipino", ever since the place had not yet been renovated. It is one of those places that, when you are in Marina di Carrara, you cannot skip: an obligatory stop that smacks of tradition and good cuisine. The quality? A guarantee. Certain! as in life, it can happen that something isn't perfect, but overall the food here is always good. My favorite dish? Fish lasagna: a true triumph of flavors that keeps me coming back every time. For logistical reasons we always go for lunch, the work menu is unbeatable in terms of quality and convenience. One aspect that does not go unnoticed is the high turnover of waiters. Sometimes you find expert, precise and attentive people who make the room run like clockwork. Other times, however, you come across characters who seem to have gotten lost and ended up there by chance. They look at you bewildered, as if wondering who they are and, worse, what they should do. A situation that makes you smile, but which you hope doesn't affect the overall experience too much. And now, a delicate topic: dogs are not allowed here. And, let's face it, finally a place that has the courage to go against the grain. Because let's face it, some dog owners expect everyone to accept their four-legged friend as if it were a moral obligation. They want respect for the dog, but often have none for those who would prefer to eat lunch without animals around. It is a civilized choice that respects those who, for whatever reason, do not appreciate the presence of dogs in a place where they eat. In short, "Corrado ex Pipino" remains a fixed point: if you are looking for good food, an unpretentious, normal environment (for better or worse), this is the right place

It is a fish restaurant with an extensive menu. The portions are generous and well prepared. The hot seafood starter is very rich with excellent fish and very tender calamari and above all little vegetables. For the second course we took two large and succulent non-farmed sea bass cooked very well. The service could be improved as we were served by several waiters, one very attentive and professional girl, another who made some inaccuracies. Overall, however, the place is pleasant even if basic and informal. Must try.

Excellent value for money with abundant dishes, the only flaw was having paid 4 euros for a bottle of water.

Era la prima volta che ci andavo ma ne avevo già sentito parlare molteplici volte e sempre molto molto bene. Locale che sembra piccolo dall'esterno ma invece molto spazioso con tanti posti a sedere. Personale molto preparato e veloce e anche in gran numero. Piatti semplici ma preparati alla perfezione e molto velocemente. Prezzi contenuti e direi ottimi in base all'offerta. Sicuramente consigliato e da tornarci presto Ps. Non ho foto tante foto perché avevo fame e non mi sono ricordato

Pranziamo per la prima volta in questo locale stimolati dalle code che si vedono all'ingresso all'orario di apertura. La prima impressione è quella di essere in una mensa date le notevoli dimensioni e la quantita' di commensali. In realta' qui regna la semplicita' e l'organizzazione. Menu a prezzo fisso ( 13 € ) gia' presente sul tavolo, ottima la scelta, mi pare 5 primi tra di pesce e non solo e 7 secondi, cosa non consueta nel pranzo di lavoro. Qualita' piu' che accettabile e quantita' congrua. Acqua e un quarto di vino, a persona, compresi. Servizio decisamente rapido. Forse qualche sorriso in piu' non guasterebbe ma non si puo' avere tutto, no?
