I discovered a wonderful place at Da Pepino, a place where you can enjoy delicious dishes, outstanding service and a family atmosphere. We arrived by chance on the first evening of our stay and did not look for other restaurants for dinner due to the quality of the service and the menu. Anca, head of the room and our Romanian, took care of us and our needs. We were happy to be served by Jorje, a relaxed Peruvian waiter with a smile on his face, who recommended the best dishes. Thanks for everything, Anca; Jorje and the members of the Da Pepino staff!

A family restaurant with an extensive menu of the day in the center of Turin Da Pepino is a family restaurant located in the center of Turin, on a busy narrow street. It has several dining rooms, one in a basement of the establishment where we were located. It has a large terrace. It is not recommended due to the narrowness of the street and the queue of customers waiting their turn to enter. Well known and frequented by the people of Turin, it stands out for its location in the old town of Turin and for its extensive and economical menu of the day. This is notable in a city with very good gastronomy but not at all economical. Their menu of the day has an offer of about ten first courses. It has more than twenty main courses. You can choose the garnish that is served apart from the dish. Among the starters on offer, the abundant pasta dishes with different sauces stand out, including Ragú or oil and pepper. They also offer some risotto which on our visit was fish with vegetables. As a main course, meat dishes with some fish options, such as tuna or salmon. The scallops of beef, pork or chicken stand out; with a thin batter and not at all oily. It's a good idea that you can choose the accompaniment to your meat or fish dish. The menu does not include dessert. However, they offer a wide variety at reasonable prices. These are in line with their menu of the day at €12 on weekdays and €14 on weekends. A place to enjoy Italian cuisine at a very reasonable price. I don't know if they make reservations, but it's better to go early and wait in line; We didn't have to wait long on a weekday.

In the center of Turin, an excellent pizza restaurant at very honest prices

Highly recommended place with fixed price menu (lunch €12 and dinner €13) during the week, unbeatable prices very close to the center of Turin, just a few minutes walk from Via Garibaldi. Large and varied menu present, in addition to starters, first courses, second courses and side dishes, also pizza and burger menus, very good typical dishes, very kind and helpful staff!

It was next to our Airbnb and we wanted to eat pizza but ended up curious about their very reasonably-priced 3-course menus. Service was very fast but friendly, though sometimes they were in too much of a hurry to remove your plates. There were quite a number of choices in the menu, you get a bit of everything. The agnolotti was actually not bad (not Arcadia level but good for the price), though my fried sardines were a bit more fishy than usual. This evening we took away pizza and tiramisu from the restaurant and really enjoyed them! The pizzas had nice crispy doughs that were chewy and tasty at the same time. The tiramisu was good if a bit too dense (my reference is always the ones you get at Aldina in Modena). Anyway this is a good address for a cheap and good local bite we will return to try the other dishes!

Good food quality and prices, ideal for quick lunches. To be avoided if you need to stay a little longer at lunch to talk at the table because after the coffee they will chase you away.

We stumbled across this Pizzeria restaurant by chance whilst venturing the streets or Turin. We did notice this unappealing display board advertising the restaurant, but it gave the impression of a cheap and tacky vibe of a place. How wrong were we...... We got seated immediately. The place had very professional, attentive, and friendly staff on hand. Our orders were taken promptly, and the food was absolutely delicious, presented, and tasted devine. The place was really busy inside, a lovely vibe and a good atmosphere. It's really clean and a well run establishment. The price at the end really surprised us. It was a really good value for money eatery. Ignore outside appearance. It's just dated need a refresh and a modern design, that's all.
