This was a local recommendation from our host and it was great. Delicious pizza (my kids wanted to go back every night we were in Lucca) and friendly staff. They have a nice patio, too.

We had dinner here on a midweek evening and the place was quiet, at the weekend it is a little more chaotic especially because they don't accept reservations but despite this it is easy to find a seat. In Lucca it is one of the few pizzerias that make gourmet pizzas with more particular doughs, we tried the charcoal dough, very good, in a red pizza with mozzarella, capers, anchovies and dried tomatoes... really a lot of stuff. The gourmet one we chose had fried courgette flowers and even if after a while it is heavy and cloying divided in half with a normal red pizza it is perfect, in fact I recommend always sharing such an elaborate pizza with someone who has chosen something different simple. Midweek, the "10 Deadly Sins" pizzas are also available, pizzas with Neapolitan dough. At our table several people took it and if I have to tell the truth, as good as they were the pizzas were also too small (I'm a woman and I would have needed 2 to feed myself) but it doesn't detract from the quality of the products. The staff is young and helpful, I also follow them on social media and I like their originality in their posts and sponsorship. The bill is fair and another advantage is the proximity to the city center, easily reachable on foot.

Conoscevo già questo locale, ma devo dire che la qualità del cibo e del servizio è migliorata rispetto alla mia precedente visita. Ospitalità impeccabile. Abbiamo iniziato con un cocktail accompagnato con cecina saporitissima. Le pizze gourmet che abbiamo scelto erano veramente buone e confezionate in modo spettacolare. Considerando la qualità dell’esperienza, ho trovato il conto adeguato. In definitiva, spero di tornare presto a gustare le loro proposte alimentari.
