Da Nicco In Orbetello

Every time we come in August this restaurant is a fixed stop for us it is a guarantee and do not believe the negative reviews because the people are really mean and frustrated. Go and evaluate for yourself to believe, the guys in the dining room are super kind and even though they are always very busy they try to satisfy every request. The pizza is truly sublime and the cuisine is truly exceptional, finger-licking good. Nicco is a young guy who knows how to manage the dining room like a 30-year-old professional, he is very polite and patient. The girl in the dining room is very sunny. I recommend you book because it is always very full. Highly recommended!!!!! Good guys, keep it up👍 and don't pay attention to the frustrated phenomena who write mean things because you are truly the best!!!

Let me start by saying that we were not the ones who commented on the quality or quantity of the food. Given the "keyboard lion" comment, here's what I should have said in front of all the other guests. Despite its small size, the place is decorated with objects placed somewhat at random, including two clocks not far away and one not even working, but these are details of little importance, they are tastes. We find the problem when you are abandoned to a practically useless service where the only one present in the room spends more time sitting at the register looking at the phone and smoking vape, rather than following the few customers in the room. I had to ask for post-fish wipes twice after 5 minutes had passed, after you had comfortably sat down again to do your own thing. The first page of the menu, but do we want to talk about it? A direct attack on the customer, right or not, you are the one who has to provide good service and people should want to come back to you. Not everyone may like this job, but no one deserves this attitude. On top of that, the two first courses we took were super greasy and more than the grated lemon over the pasta it looked like a field, in fact it was practically inedible. Furthermore, by booking on The Fork we expected pizza, which coincidentally, not indicated, is not available for lunch. I could continue but I have better things to do.. Good life to you

We ate at this restaurant in Orbetello, as soon as we sat down they brought us not only drinks, but also a taste of panzanella (offered by the house) delicious... the first courses we ate... were one better than the other... pappardelle with wild boar, spaghetti with clams, bottarga and lemon, gnocchi with fish sauce... and gnocchi with prawns and gorgonzola... all truly excellent. Also the fried food was very good... and obviously the tripe. Carlo... the owner... a perfect "host"... We will definitely be back to try other dishes. Ciao da belva

Nice environment, very clean, with inside and outside tables. Professional staff. Very good food and fair portions. Price quite in line with the competition. As highlighted on the first page of the menu, go without rushing, times are a bit long even without the place being full!! Also bookable with The fork

This is the one of the best restaurants I’ve visited in Italy. The best pizza I’ve ever had, the food is really delicious. There was a stunning authentic athmosphere, the staff is also very welcoming - highly recommend a visit

Excellent food but the place is very dark. The paintings and junk hanging on the walls need to be looked at again.

Typical and tasty dishes at a competitive price. Wide variety of choice, from seafood and land first and second courses to pizzas. Absolutely worth trying also for its central location in Orbetello.
