We were there this summer, and it's simply one of the best restaurants to enjoy delicious freshly caught fish in Sardinia! Kudos to Dr. Nardino, who has managed his business in an exemplary manner, putting the customer first. The products are fresh and of excellent quality. If you're passing through San Teodoro, it's a must-visit.

I was here for dinner, and I had a braised octopus terrine, which wasn't anything special. The octopus was good, but the dish itself was bland and a bit bland. For €18, I definitely expected more. Luckily, the Sardinian fregula with shellfish elevated the dinner; it was tasty, well-made, and I recommend it. The service was attentive and well-timed. The overall quality is there, but the prices are a bit high, and some of the preparation could be improved.

Greatest place for seafood. Staff is knowledgeable and feel free to ask them for recommendations for fresh fish. We definitely did not regret our choices.

We had the spaghetti vongole which was probably the best I've ever had, and spaghetti with tomato sauce which was very good. Great selection of dishes and seafood. Great service from the staff too

A sure thing! The gratin appetizer is fantastic, as are all the fish dishes, and the first courses. Friendly staff, and a shout out to Davide, my waiter for many years!

If you want to experience a pleasant atmosphere and a gourmet experience, I recommend visiting this beautiful and especially historical restaurant, which was founded in 1984. You will be welcomed directly by the owner, seated by friendly staff. Everything seems so organized and tasteful. I recommend. We enjoyed ourselves and thank you for the opportunity to try the flavors of this establishment.

04/01/2026: The food was very tasty, especially the seafood risotto, which was the best we ate during our holiday. The service was friendly every day.
17/12/2025: It's a wonderful place, masterfully managed with the utmost care for its guests. Whether it's lunch, dinner, or after dinner, Calypso never disappoints. It's very chic for a sunset aperitivo, with views from Castelsardo to Asinara. I've left my heart here and can't wait to return, not only for the location but especially for Davide and his team. Speaking of the food... the raw fish is superb, the pasta dishes are plentiful and plated like works of art. The disco nights are great fun, always with different special guests. Awarded several times as the best beach bar in Italy. Highly recommended.

20/09/2025: A family-run trattoria, slightly difficult to reach due to the rugged dirt road that connects it to the eastern Sardinian coast. The place is charming, the service included a generous bread basket, and we were even treated to some house myrtle liqueur at the end of the meal. The fish was delicious and fresh, and the traditional dishes were excellent and well-prepared. The location is like a trattoria, but the food is a restaurant.
18/09/2025: This restaurant is right off the beach and had two sections One is for coffee, drinks, and quick bites and the other is an actual full service restaurant. The food was great as was the service. It was really nice to have lunch with a great view of the beach. The beach itself has a section where umbrellas and chairs could be rented for 30euros (one umbrella and two chairs). There is also a section if you bring your own equipment. Free parking was also available right next to the beach.
