Ideal for those looking for a rustic environment and a cuisine based only on fish. We had a mixed starter, lasagna with porcini mushrooms and fish sauce and prawns: excellent! The house still white wine is also good.

Welcoming and informal environment, just the old tavern of the past where you feel at home. Family run, you are welcomed with open arms by friendliness and professionalism.
The quality of the food is truly excellent, worthy of 5 stars which only lacks praise. We had a really great time and ate some DELICIOUS fish!! I wholeheartedly recommend this little place🌻

Excellent and genuine food, I even found the "unavailable elsewhere" mussoli, very kind staff, small, familiar and easy-going environment; not recommended for large groups, excellent for couples or close friends. Reasonable prices. Always stay like this.

Improvised dinner with friends in Trieste, pouring rain and notable wind. Luckily we had a great time at Massimo's. Small place but great dishes. Mussels, scallops, creamed cod and exceptional lobster bavette. Pistachio and coffee semifreddo. Enjoy your meal.

Very good and authentic food in a small restaurant just outside the city center. Despite our limited knowledge of Italian, we were treated very nicely and friendly and everything was explained to us in great detail. Highly recommended!

Small and welcoming place, it's been a long time since we ate such good fish, from the appetizer to the dessert, truly compliments to Massimo for his skill in preparing and cooking the dishes, and to his wife for her sweetness and friendliness in serving at the tables. TO BE RETURNED

Diciamo che non si punta sull'estetica e sull'arredamento,il locale sarebbe un po' da rinnovare. Il voto si riferisce solo a quello che abbiamo mangiato e alla cortesia della Signora che ci ha servito,le pietanze sono state tutte buone e il pesce era fresco e saporito,bravi.
