Very nice restaurant! 🥰 I've had calamari fritti in many places, but this is the best ever! I can only recommend it. We also had black mussels, which were also incredibly delicious. The lady is nice, lively, attentive, funny. We had a great time. If we are in Trieste again, we will definitely stop by here ❤️ I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Good service and good meal using fresh seafood. Just be aware, as others have said, that menu options change based on what fresh seafood is available that day, so not everything is on offer. (For example, in my case for a late-August dinner, I had to choose from 4 starters, 3 first courses, and 0 second courses.)

This trattoria with a (fortunately) slightly old-fashioned flavour without being caricatural is all in its souls. In the kitchen Massimo, a former fishmonger who knows fish and knows how to treat it while preserving its characteristics and quality like few places nowadays and his wife (whose name I unfortunately didn't ask, excuse me), a bubbly lady who has adapted to be a magnificent waitress capable of accompanying customers through the flavours of the place. The dishes, or rather the fish, are described with love by someone who really cares that you taste them, by someone who sees in those fish the truest and most seafaring soul of Trieste. And so the mussoli, practically unobtainable outside this area, which for me were a revelation and the spider crab and the mixed fried food, oh the fried food, of fresh fish and not just calamari. A homely and delicious fried food. And then everything washed down with an excellent house white. Congratulations indeed, this place speaks of Trieste and leaves you with the memory of an evening with friends that you will not forget and that you want to repeat as soon as possible. Excellent seafood cuisine, home-made, very fresh raw materials and kind and professional welcome. Excellent mix for a perfect dinner. Highly recommended.

MUST PASS IT! Authentic place in Trieste, small but full of heart. Run by a super friendly couple, here you eat spectacular fish, fresh and cooked to perfection. Relaxed atmosphere, you immediately feel at home. If you love good fish and real hospitality, you absolutely must stop by!

"Everything perfect" is the phrase that fully expresses my experience! The fabulous food, the wonderful lady, the precise and fast chef! For those who want to eat delicious fish dishes and want to feel at home, I highly recommend coming here!

Locale defilato dal centro quasi non si nota , ma appena si entra si nota il calore di un locale alla mano ma gestito con amore . La signora viene al tavolo munita di blocchetto dove elenca i piatti del giorno è confermo la freschezza e la qualità del pesce . Pesce che viene cotto secondo la tradizione e con passione dal cuoco che è anche proprietario del locale . Che dire , buon cibo , ambiente informale e cortesia : mix vincente per noi! Torneremo più che volentieri
