5 stars because there isn't 6 Fantastic place and superlative food, I recommend it to everyone✨✨ The wine from the Vitas winery is superb, take at least one bottle (each 🤣🤣)

Excellent high quality cuisine, interesting and attractive menu with well-assorted dishes. Simple but extremely warm and welcoming atmosphere. You feel comfortable like at home.

Ideal for those looking for a rustic environment and a cuisine based only on fish. We had a mixed starter, lasagna with porcini mushrooms and fish sauce and prawns: excellent! The house still white wine is also good.

Welcoming and informal environment, just the old tavern of the past where you feel at home. Family run, you are welcomed with open arms by friendliness and professionalism. The quality of the food is truly excellent, worthy of 5 stars which only lacks praise. We had a really great time and ate some DELICIOUS fish!! I wholeheartedly recommend this little place🌻

Excellent and genuine food, I even found the "unavailable elsewhere" mussoli, very kind staff, small, familiar and easy-going environment; not recommended for large groups, excellent for couples or close friends. Reasonable prices. Always stay like this.

Improvised dinner with friends in Trieste, pouring rain and notable wind. Luckily we had a great time at Massimo's. Small place but great dishes. Mussels, scallops, creamed cod and exceptional lobster bavette. Pistachio and coffee semifreddo. Enjoy your meal.

Trattoria el Massimo fue recomendado por nuestro propietario (cuando nos alojamos en un apartamento cerca). Un equipo de marido y mujer que probablemente se han olvidado más del negocio de lo que la mayoría de los restaurantes nunca aprenderán. Cenar de la manera tradicional, local en esta joya. Buena diversión eligiendo nuestros cursos sin menú, la camarera era una dama querida, nuestro idioma Inglés / Español e Italiano hizo el trabajo, pidió Sword Fish y Langostines para principal, mejillones para empezar. Tan delicioso x También se introdujo en el vino regional de Friulano, delicioso y mejor que cualquier vino italiano que conseguimos en el Reino Unido. Grazzi Mille Capo y Capo Donna.

Very good and authentic food in a small restaurant just outside the city center. Despite our limited knowledge of Italian, we were treated very nicely and friendly and everything was explained to us in great detail. Highly recommended!
