I don't think it needs any introduction. The food is divine, the drinks are good, and the price is reasonable. You leave feeling full. The atmosphere is dated, but that's its beauty.

A very rustic place, but that's precisely why it's so beautiful. It feels like home. It was our first time there, and I'll definitely be back. Those tortelli, cappelletti, and melt-in-your-mouth meat are truly superb. But the icing on the cake is the staff: the young woman was polite, kind, and friendly, and the gentleman who grilled the meat was equally so. If you really want to "start a controversy," it's the bill, which I think is fair. But since it's a fixed menu, from what I understand, customers should be warned, and the lack of a menu is a bit of a disappointment. Because it's right to know how much food costs. But again, it's a pointless controversy.

The quality/quantity/price ratio justifies and confirms the excellent reviews it's earned over time. If you like the atmosphere of a family trattoria, this is a place you absolutely must try!

28/12/2025: We visited the Prater Restaurant in Sant'Ilario for a truffle-themed evening, and the experience was simply impeccable. We ate wonderfully: dishes crafted with meticulous attention to detail and perfectly paired with wines that enhanced every course. Special applause to the restaurant manager, who was always kind, helpful, and attentive to guests, without ever being intrusive. Also noteworthy is the impeccable cleanliness of the dining room and bathrooms, meticulously maintained, even providing a welcome kit for guests—a sign of great attention and professionalism. Attentive service, a pleasant atmosphere, and the highest quality. An absolutely positive experience, one we'll repeat.
