Restaurant in a wonderful place and with truly excellent dishes! I recommend the first course with broad beans, fennel and bacon which is truly delicious and the fillet with green pepper which is done to perfection! I also recommend leaving your car in the nearby car park from which the beautiful Eagle path starts and upon returning from the walk, which lasts about 2-3 hours, go for lunch/dinner in this restaurant.

We had a really good lunch at this restaurant. The dishes were tasty and the service was fast. We brought our dog with us and they reserved a quiet room for us with few people. We ate duck breast and fillet with porcini mushrooms, as an appetizer we had the tartare with quail eggs and truffle, and as dessert we had the mascarpone and berry cake. I recommend everything.

Located at the top of a mountain, in a charming little hamlet with stunning views all around.
Da Maria makes all food from scratch, and is particularly into truffles.
The procutti antipasti comes with julienned celeriac in a delicious dressing, and amazing fresh flat bread, straight out of the oven.
The tagliatelle with truffles is to die for, and they will happily split the huge portion between two people, as a ‘primi piatti’.
To follow, I had a seasonal special of pork with fresh fava beans (broad beans), and my husband had the pork with berries - both really good, and so filling we couldnt manage dessert.
On a previous visit, we tried the snails, from the ‘typical’ menu, and they were also good.
The ‘open’ red wine is absolutely amazing! It is served in reused Chianti bottles and unbelievable value, at 3.50€ for half liter.
Local friends come here as often as they can, and on Saturday the place was packed, so do book ahead. Service is friendly, helpful and efficient. We will be back!
