I went to this restaurant for lunch, recommended by a friend who lives in Trieste, I would say that I had a good time, informal atmosphere, excellent food, we had an appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses and then a grilled meat accompanied by baked chips, friendly staff, reasonable price, I would recommend it to anyone who is in Trieste

Salvia e Rosmarino Ristorante Pizzeria

22/08/2025: It was a last-minute decision; unfortunately, there was only a small menu, but everything tasted good and the staff were friendly.
18/07/2025: Easiest 5 stars. We came here without expecting much looking at other reviews, were we in for a treat! The host is a sort of Italian Robin Williams combining a unique dynamic flair, easy hospitality and personal interaction. This seems to reflect in the food that is not just tasty, made and presented with attention but also engaging and interesting. Loved the spaghetti with black garlic, and the pasta with goulash was to die for. Not to mention the lasagnetta with pesto and pea sprouts on top. Served with excellent local Vitovska wine and an excellent tiramisu this lunch approaches what is for me the perfect restaurant experience.
