Da Giulio In Pavia

Had lunch here with a delicious pizza. Prices below average. The day outside was rainy and the place was a bit cold, but we had a good time!!!

Maybe it's not 5 stars but overall I wanted to give it to it. Going to Giulio is a real experience. It is a place where time seems to have stopped, both in terms of furnishings and service. And, last but not least, also the prices. I wanted to compliment the manager on the pizza, the courtesy and the bill (he manages to maintain prices that haven't been seen for years, significantly lower than average). Probably the place, although well-kept, being so retro, appears a bit ugly but this really takes a backseat. The pizza is very thin, very far from the contemporary and Neapolitan pizza of today, served everywhere. But it's just as good, and certainly excellent especially for those looking for something different. I will be back to try the restaurant. (He also makes gluten-free pizza)

Prices are amazing (nothing is >10€). I thought of pizzas to be average (good but not exceptional) but the staff and the atmosphere was so classy and cozy. We celebrated a birthday from 8pm till 1am and they never told us anything, I respect that a lot since that is actually the core reason to go to a restaurant - connect with your friends and not to solely consume. I appreciate businesses that are not kicking you out for not constantly paying (and I did experience that in Pavia). Overall experience 8/10.

This place on the edge of the historic center of Pavia reminds me of an old-fashioned restaurant, always ready to welcome you. It is very large. Its decor, even if stuck in a bygone era, is very pleasant. When you enter you feel like family and it's always full. Despite this, you always find a place without a reservation. Always open, at unlikely times, abundant and typical dishes, at fair prices. It's a good time at Giulio's. we feel welcomed.

So and so… yet a milestone. You won’t get the best pizza, but if you are hungry 3am in the night this is the place to give a try.

Non c'è da aspettarsi un locale gourmet. Trattasi di un ristorante, quasi di quartiere, esistente da anni, che alterna sia menù di carne che di pesce. Piatti ben fatti e discretamente serviti. Clientela abbastanza ripetitiva. La struttura ha la sua vetustà ma mantiene ancora un suo charme. Prezzi leggermente superiori al buon senso.

Locale vicino ai giardini del castello visconteo di Pavia, molto grande internamente con tanti posti a sedere anche fuori..molto pieno e questo e sempre indizio di buono..cucina casereccia nella media, con prezzi nella norma...accettabile...
