On Valentine's Day, we went to Giovanni's for lunch: we ordered mixed antipasti a la carte and a first course each. The appetizers were mediocre, nothing exceptional; we were disappointed. Although the fried food was golden and crispy, the calamari was rubbery. The eggplant caponata was good, which I hadn't expected in a seafood appetizer. Marinated and smoked anchovies from store-bought bags... but let's move on to the first courses: pasta with clams was completely dry, seemingly oily. The pasta with sea urchins was slightly better. We also ordered risottos: good flavor, but not at all creamy. The sauce was loose. Both the pasta and the rice were cooked perfectly. Dessert: excellent lemon sorbet, I don't know if it was homemade. Tart with cream: delicious cream, raw pastry, still moist on the inside, which, obviously, wasn't crunchy in the mouth but too creamy. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was nice and clean.

A very pleasant place with a beautiful sea view. We came here by chance and were not disappointed at all. The staff were very friendly, and the food was excellent. We also tried two desserts, both of which were absolutely delicious. At the beginning, we had no idea what to expect, but everything turned out perfectly. Highly recommended.

Family dinner with our children. We weren't served at the same time, especially our youngest, who waited a good five minutes longer than the adults before getting his meal. The same thing happened with dessert (we wondered if they'd forgotten him because we had to ask for it again). The owner stayed home watching a football match on his phone while the two young waiters were doing their jobs. Why didn't he just stay home and watch the game on TV? Not even a "good evening" or "goodbye" to the customers! It's a shame because we enjoyed the food. I felt a lack of professionalism and politeness in this restaurant, values ​​that seem essential to me when working in the restaurant industry!

Today a friend took me to this Trattoria, everything was excellent, from the antipatico to the dessert, I highly recommend it.

Straight in at opening time to nice, really efficient service. Super grilled tuna and polpo with mash. A little lingo mix-up with starters resulted in puddings on the house. Sunset over the distant Zingara mountains across the bay- perfect small town end to our last Sicily evening.

I went there for the first time on a recommendation and overall we had a good time. The food was good, not everything was served in the right time. The place is airy and bright on the veranda. The menu is decent and excellent value for money. I will be back.
