Very good food and a homely yet classy atmosphere

Waiter spoke good English. Authentic Italian restaurant. Pasta was great. Good value. Even brought a mini chocolate dessert free at end.

We visited Ristorante Da Giordano during our recent trip to Milan after hearing positive recommendations. The restaurant is small and intimate, with tables placed quite close together, creating a lively and authentic local atmosphere. The service was attentive and professional throughout our visit. Our table ordered the lasagna and the spinach ravioli. The lasagna was enjoyed by my colleagues. As I do not eat pork, I chose the spinach ravioli, which was nicely prepared and light. The cuisine overall reflects a traditional and simple Italian style, with subtle seasoning that highlights the ingredients rather than bold flavors. Portions were moderate. Personally, I would have appreciated a vegetable lasagna option, though that may simply reflect what I am more accustomed to. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with good service and ambience. While it did not fully align with our flavor preferences, others who enjoy classic, lightly seasoned Italian cuisine may find it very appealing.

This restaurant serves primarily Emilian cuisine, with Lombard influences and variations. The dishes are carefully prepared, and the sauces are flavorful yet light. The menu offers a wide selection, mostly meat-based. The boiled meats are excellent, as are the tagliatelle with meat sauce. The staff are friendly, and the owner is very attentive and carefully supervises the dining room. Decent value.

Wonderful place, excellent cuisine, super staff. A very welcoming environment where you can eat excellent dishes, spend a fair amount, spend time in good company and be served by very good, friendly and competent staff.

Excellent Bolognese restaurant in Milan! The passatelli and tortellini are superb!
