Da Gherardo In Lucca

The first time I chose the “Da Gherardo” restaurant by chance because there are many restaurants on the amphitheater square. But after an incomparably delicious dinner, I always plan at least one visit to this restaurant during my stay in Lucca. If someone (Gherardo) can stay in the same place for forty years, then he is doing something right. The service is friendly, attentive and fast and the dishes are all fantastic. I can recommend "Da Gherardo" without hesitation.

Ordered 3 gluten free pizzas. One of the best gluten-free pizza doughs I've eaten. They had even received an award for it. Highly recommend the frutti di mare pizza😍🦐

Pranzo fra amici domenica 3 novembre. C'è posto solo all'interno, peccato perché è una bella giornata. Arredi da trattoria vissuta. Servizio rapido e puntuale. Il menù ha una buona varietà di pizze e di piatti da ristorante, oltre che di bevande. Ordiniamo una pizza, un calzone, un piatto di pici cacio e pepe e uno di ravioli alla provola e speck in burro e salvia, oltre un piatto di patate al forno e uno di patate fritte. Pizza funghi e prosciutto apprezzata. Pici e ravioli anche. Sul mio calzone di mare posso dire che il ripieno è molto buono mentre l'impasto è più una sfoglia, un po' sottile per un vero calzone. Porzioni di patate incredibilmente scarse. Ci sono solo i dolci fissi e non quelli della casa, che alcuni avrebbero ordinato. Panna cotta e tiramisù apprezzati (il mio in particolare cantucci e vin santo buonissimo). 26€ a testa con una bottiglia d'acqua da 1lt., una birra e un bicchiere di sangria, oltre due caffè.

The porcini mushroom tagliatelle was amazing! As was the bruschetta with melted cheese.

A great restaurant for mixed gluten-eating and non-gluten-eating groups. They offer homemade pasta and pizzas. Gluten-free food is great. I ate gluten-free and lactose-free pasta and it was really delicious. They also offer gluten-free desserts. For those who are gluten-free, this is a must-visit restaurant. It's worth waiting for a table. Helpful and friendly staff. 👏🏻🫶🏻

It was pretty good, but 2 came back with upset stomachs.

Both waitresses were less friendly. The waiter was nice. The lasagna was very good, and the ravioli was cooked out of a freezer, tasted ok. Coperto 1.5, Nice sofa for sitting inside, I would try another place next time.

La mia ragazza è celiaca e cercavamo un ristorante con pasta fresca senza glutine per una cenetta di coppia nella bellissima Lucca. Location bellissima e pasta fresca senza glutine veramente buona, la fanno loro!! Consigliato vivamente
