Locally run Italian restaurant with good food and friendly service. Chef Gherardo personally attends to guests and also provides work to well-trained migrants. Gluten-free dishes are available.

Lasagna overcooked to mush, tortelli noodles watery in the middle, and dough hard as a rock. Service very nice.

Highly recommended we ordered two pasta dishes, one of them recommendation of the day being some very good noodles with shrimp and a carbonara that I would definitely recommend. Very good atmosphere and very good service.

18/05/2025: The place is very nice, with a large gazebo furnished in a nautical style that has the pool and the sea as a backdrop. We were always welcomed and served with a smile and a kind word, but what is really noteworthy is the food, truly excellent. I celebrated my birthday and the menu was also appreciated by those who were with me. The mussel soute’ was excellent, as were the tagliolini with stracciatella and prawns. I tried my husband’s spaghetti allo scoglio and his fried food, equally good. We finished with a cake with a candle, everything perfect.
17/05/2025: Very nice space, clean, cozy, helpful staff and all crowned with excellent food both taste for the tongue and aromas for the nose and delicious for the eyes. It should be taken into account that for quality ingredients for food production you have to pay a little extra and in the seafood category I think that you should not compromise on quality. The dinner for the four of us, which I had to wait a while to finish, cost about 150€.

Go.Do. Burger Bar & Bistrot

17/05/2025: Huge burgers! First time ever I had to eat a burger with a fork and knife. Great flavor and well-prepared. If you’re looking for a break from pizza and pasta, this would be a good choice in Lucca.
15/05/2025: I always enjoy this place, so take my review with a grain of salt. Their menu is small and refined, focusing very well on a few key items. The burgers are good, the marinated veggies are great, but their hot dog is the real star.
