A place to eat hearty, good food at a reasonable price; the portions are truly enormous and the quality excellent. The service is decidedly courteous and efficient. Highly recommended.

For a casual lunch or dinner, overlooking the small square and open even without a reservation. Always friendly, they offer a menu of first and second courses, fish, and (good) pizzas. A welcoming place to enjoy before or after the evening, with affordable prices.

15/02/2026: Good morning, I wanted to tell you that last night (Valentine's Day 2026) was a beautiful evening, both in terms of atmosphere and music with a live guitarist, but... An hour and a half to receive a first course, a second course, and a side dish seems excessive and unacceptable! The food was delicious, but between the appetizer, cheese, and jam, and the first course, second course, and side dish, far too much time passed. It was almost embarrassing for the staff; everyone at the table complained! The staff was also very inattentive; they didn't clear the wine glasses for those of us who don't drink wine. They cleared the dirty dishes from the table after 20-30 minutes... Honestly, it wasn't the evening I imagined. Furthermore, they didn't leave the book I had requested and already paid for on the table; in fact, I had to ask for it at the cashier! Let's just say you have a lot of room for improvement, especially given the restaurant's prices, these inattentiveness and delays are unacceptable. At the cashier's desk, they apologized for the delay, but there was no financial return. Frankly, I was somewhat disappointed with the evening. I also wrote to you to encourage you to improve.
10/02/2026: From the name, I expected a restaurant with lots of flowers, but that's not quite the case. On the other hand, the food and service were excellent.

Pasticceria Romeo

19/04/2026: Good quality pastry shop with a small deli in Piazzale Bande Nere in Milan. Excellent coffee. Unfortunately, however, I absolutely cannot give five stars for the service of an inexperienced waiter who, combined with the positioning of the tables on the extremely sloping sidewalk, caused the contents of an entire cup of coffee to spill on both me and my dog, a white Maltese. There weren't even napkins on the table to remedy the situation promptly. So far, it can happen; I didn't blame the waiter because I always respect the work of others and fully understand that only those who do nothing never make mistakes. What I find inconsistent with the attentive management and the attendance of a pastry shop so great that it's the most well-known in the neighborhood—certainly not a failing business—is the fact that, despite having brought the incident to the attention of the owner, not even a drink was offered, considering that a dog grooming service in Milan (mandatory because the brown coffee has been absorbed by the white coat and cannot be removed) in the area costs on average no less than €60-70. I'm not saying this expense should be reimbursed, as is generally the norm for dry cleaners in similar cases, but at least the drink, worth just €6, could have been offered, given that the owner was informed of the incident. It would have been a symbolic gesture, but appreciated, given the damage caused and, in addition to the expense, the time spent booking and picking up the dog from the groomer.
09/03/2026: When I'm in Milan, I can't wait for the weekend to come and have breakfast at Romeo. Despite being very busy, the service is always excellent. And their products are exceptional: brioche with a wide variety of flavors to choose from and various specialties.
