A tip from a waitress at our original destination, whose kitchen was unfortunately closing at 10:30 p.m.: So we stumbled into this restaurant, which was still packed at such a late hour, where they quickly prepared a table for two. We were joined by a bunch of locals who were dining at length, and it was the middle of the week! Fantastic fish dishes, seafood, and pasta at very reasonable prices. We were delighted!

The owner is a wine lover and the staff are very friendly. The raw oysters and pasta are delicious. The owner recommended Sesto 21 Frascati Superiore Riserva from the Lazio region, which is a great wine to try. It was a wonderful memory for my last day in Rome.

How do you say, incredible? Two foodies blown away by the quality of the food and the service! Lovely folks who love their food and it shows—tagliatelle fisherman’s style was divine, the grilled calamari was melt-in-your-mouth, and the tiramisu was heavenly. We found it at lunch and made a reservation for dinner before we got our first check. We’d tell no one if we lived here just so we’d have a better shot at always getting a table. 10/10!

Esperienza Top! Cibo, servizio, location sono un mix di eccellenze che rendono unico ogni pasto consumato in questa piccola e storica perla di Borgo Pio. Il pesce freschissimo è cucinato con cura per mantenere tutto il suo sapore senza l'uso eccessivo di salse e decorazioni, ormai troppo abusate più per stupire e offrire impiattamenti instagrammabili che per deliziare il palato.
Carta dei vini molto ricercata, personale gentile e molto attento.

Piccolo ristorante nel Borgo Pio a poca distanza da San Pietro Benito e Gilberto e’ un piccolo e storico ristorante di pesce sempre affollato e con una cucina semplice ma con pesce fresco e con una specialità; il crudo soprattutto di frutti di mare. Ottima la pezzogna all’acqua pazza e buoni gli spaghetti alle vongole che erano conditi forse troppo peperoncino. Servizio rallentato dalla ressa degli avventori che riempiono il locale sino al primo pomeriggio.
Un consiglio; non ordinate il caffè (peraltro fatto con la Moka)rischiate di averlo la mattina dopo a colazione.
