Top experience! The food, service, and location are a blend of excellence that make every meal at this small, historic gem in Borgo Pio unique. The freshest fish is cooked with care to retain all its flavor without the excessive use of sauces and garnishes, which are now overused, more for wowing and offering Instagrammable plating than for delighting the palate. The wine list is very refined, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Try it!

We were really satisfied with this gastronomic experience! The raw fish and oysters were excellent, the shrimp were very fresh. The owner accompanied us in our choices with kindness and friendliness The choice of wines was excellent I highly recommend it to everyone

A place specialized in seafood and aren’t they good! It was fresh, well prepared, and presented with options of sauces on the side. I ate my steamed shrimp without any sauce because it was full of flavor just by itself. This will be my top place in Rome to visit again.

Piccolo ristorante nel Borgo Pio a poca distanza da San Pietro Benito e Gilberto e’ un piccolo e storico ristorante di pesce sempre affollato e con una cucina semplice ma con pesce fresco e con una specialità; il crudo soprattutto di frutti di mare. Ottima la pezzogna all’acqua pazza e buoni gli spaghetti alle vongole che erano conditi forse troppo peperoncino. Servizio rallentato dalla ressa degli avventori che riempiono il locale sino al primo pomeriggio. Un consiglio; non ordinate il caffè (peraltro fatto con la Moka)rischiate di averlo la mattina dopo a colazione. Prezzi onesti

Excellent menu dégustation que de poissons et fruits de mer .Tout est très frais et superbement cuisiner. Le service est très bien et sympathique. Très bonne adresse.

07/07/2025: Great Federico, since the distant COVID it has now become our point of reference in the area, a beautiful, large pub with a great variety of food and spirits including craft beers on tap and gin. Excellent both for a beer after work and for organizing birthdays, outdoor seating and the guys in charge of service are fast and polite.

27/06/2025: damn it, Pippo! We didn't understand why there were half portions on the menu... 12 euros for a portion of tagliolini allo scoglio, divided into 2 large plates for my wife and 3 for me... and I couldn't finish them all. Excellent quality of fish, nothing to envy to more renowned ultra expensive restaurants... you need a navigator to get there but you won't regret it. Unfortunately I didn't take the second course because I was full, but we took 3 exceptional tiramisu'. 40 euros for an excellent pizza margherita for the child, a first course that we shared, 2 waters and 3 tiramisu'
